I grabbed a coffee in here early this morning and both staff working were so miserable and rude (2 females) by far the worst customer service I?ve ever experienced and to top it off the coffee was horrible.

The food is average but staff are super friendly and very helpful. My son accidentally spilled all of my drink minutes after I got it and this brunette haired lady was quick to mop it up and offer me a free refill, thank you so much made my day

Visited twice during our holiday, excellent coffee. Despite being really busy, we didn't have to wait long to be served or receive orders.
Conveniently attached to Oceanarium and located on the beach front, it rarely got quiet but highly equipped to cope with a high volume of customers.

We have used this place frequently for the past couple of years, and have experienced mistakes by staff on several occasions, but today was the final visit. My wife placed an order which was wrongly delivered, and the waiter was apologetic and took away the food to have it replaced with what she ordered. This caused my wife to look at the bill and she noticed that she had been overcharged by 40p, which is not a fortune, but there is a principle here so she went to the desk to point it out and came back fuming at the treatment she had received, long story but she had eventually told them to forget it as they were making things difficult. As we were eating the manageress approached us, no apology, and told us the till didn't enable them to carry out a simple refund, which I told her was ridiculous. Some time later she walked up and slapped 40p in cash on the table saying, "here's the money from the till", again no apology, she simply stormed off. That was our last visit.

Terrible place. Have visited many times but have finally given up hoping it will improve. This is such a shame because they are in such a wonderful location. Please, please, let someone who knows how to run a coffee house take charge.

Their full English consists of a bacon and sausage sandwich, well it would if they had any sausages. Don't believe their website. I will never go there again.

The worst place i have ever been

Very kind, polite & professional staff. Quick service, I ordered a chicken burger which was served within about 10 minutes. Tummy filling, couldn't even finish the entire burger to be honest. I've had chicken burgers from places elsewhere around the beach & I must say this was the best one so far. The burger patty was the right size, crispy & served with good quantity lettuce, tomato & mayo. Though mayo was less rich (watery), it gave the burger the perfect moisture. No onions added though.I had it as a takeaway but then decided to have it at the outdoor seating of the cafe with the best view of the beach.I've read reviews for this cafe from the past & from what I observed today, they have definitely improved a lot.Will definitely visit again if coming to Bournemouth.
