02 customer service has said it been resolved but NOT said how this has happened or anything

I?d AVOID this service provider at all costs. Bad coverage in bournemouth and overall quite scammy and difficult to work with. clearly after your money!
I?d been using o2 for over 2 years before one day they randomly deleted my monthly rolling plan and logged me out of the app the day AFTER charging me £30. Meaning i was left with no connection at all the moment i left the house for work or anything else. took over a week to get that sorted out and when i had gone into the shop to request some help the guy there had been very dismissive and so unapologetic and said the only way he can help me out and get my plan back is for me to purchase it AGAIN, even though they already took my money for the month. and he said the £30 i was owed could only be given back via store credit even though the mistake was on their end. after all that i was only refunded £25 and had to chase customer service online to get the remaining £5. After this i decided i?d had enough of o2 and chose to switch to a better and affordable provider which has been going way smoother and because of that i was entitled to a refund from O2 since i cancelled early. I had to speak to a customer service lady on the phone who was supposed to issue and mail the cheque to me but turns out that lady had spelt my name wrong!! even after I had gone over the correct spelling with her on the phone. Which means my bank would consider it void and I wouldn?t be able to get my refund. By now this has already been going on for over 2-3 months!! here?s some advice, please only employ workers that can speak proper english! especially if they?re working customer service through the phone and the audio is already not very clear, they should be skilled enough to speak the language clearly. it was so hard to communicate with the employee who could barely understand me. So After all that I had to reach out the O2 customer service on X which was way more helpful than anyone else and ask for the cheque to be reissued. Still now I am waiting to receive it even though it was been over 10 working days which they said i should receive it by then. This whole incident started in november and it?s already february. It is a major headache and i hope no one else has to go through this mess.

Was very keen to get us to sign a new contract. But absolutely useless in following up and finalising the details. Didn?t call back as they promised. I called for 3 days straight and they don?t answer the store phone. Ended up calling customer services. Avoid. Avoid.

An absolute shambles form this team.
First, they lost my number, then they messed up my upgrade, then I went to exchange the phone and they told me my old number wasn't lost at all, they told me to wipe my phone for my upgrade, once it was wiped, the upgrade didn't work, I had already sent it off to Music Magpie for recycling, then I was using another phone (which I had wiped instore) and I am now locked out of my iCloud account because Apple want to text my old number to verify me which they lost! FFS.

Every time i Visit the store for upgrade and purchase they always ask me to call customer service instead. Today i asked for Switch up plan and they us me to call customer service instead. Clearly they dont know what and how the process is as it need to be done physically as they need to check my phone.

It's so nice in this day and age to find such kind and helpful staff who patiently guided me through buying a new phone. I'm in my eighties and technology is mostly beyond me, but,I came away very pleased with my purchase. ?

Went in today to upgrade my Galaxy phone. Guy at the front desk didnt understand the phone was on a commercial contract with O2. The second guy said he wasnt trained on commercial contracts and the last guy at the back was sat on his phone and wasnt interested. Was told to call customer service and sort it out direct. Shame the O2 shop in winton, which I understand was a franchise has closed as that team were positive, customer focused and motivated to help. Shame the lot in Bmth seem to have jobs regardless of the rubbish customer service they provide. So... I went on Amazon, bought a new galaxy phone which will be here tomorrow. You can see why the high street is dying...and its not because us customers arent trying!
