Everything you need, helpful staff

This place has a wide range of product however, the staff/management don't put the price tags on many items, and some other price tags are placed under the wrong items to scam people...They have plenty of offers in the middle of the aisles but non of those have any prices... Very convenient...The very little business that I was bringing here (as local off licence), I will take it somewhere else.

Really handy corner shop, and in fact, it?s really got a very wide range of convenience foods? some interesting crisps! Nice prompt service.

The hotel & room were clean, tidy& quite newly decorated. The sea view rooms are worth paying for as the view is amazing, full view of the beach, sea & pier. The bed & pillows are ok, not the best sleep but adequate. The brassiere blanc restaurant is fantastic, we would usually eat elsewhere but the food was so nice the 1st night that we returned the 2nd night. Disappointingly the breakfast was only slightly warm or cold both mornings. The cooked items appear hot but not when eating- maybe because of the cold plate? The pancakes were sat with the cereals so stone cold but nice if were hot. Slow service for breakfast.

We had dinner (6 professional adults) at The Brasserie Blanc and it was excellent but... after paying £76 per person we decided to stay at the hotel bar to drink one more bottle of Prosecco, £38, and they gave us plastic glasses!!! Seriously?! I asked for glasses and they said no, shocking ? and the car parking £24 for 4 hours, not impressed with the Marriott

For the price and expecations for a 4 Star Hotel this was very disappointing for me and my family. Since we checked in, there has been multiple flaws in both rooms we had booked. For one, the shower did not work in one of the rooms - so 4 of us had to shower in the same room until they finally fixed it on the third complaint on the second day. As you can see from the photos, the hook in the other bathroom was also broken when we came - and throghout our stay, never once did the staff do anything to address it. Furthermore, when we came back to the hotel on the second day, one of the beds had a stain on the duvet cover along with curly hair on top of the bed. When we showed this to the reception, they said they take a note of it and report it - but did not offer to change the bedsheets; this was also not changed the next day when the cleaning staff returned. For some weird reason, they do not refill toilet paper, amenities nor coffee without us having to remind them of it. The hotel in general also looks quite worn down. Will however say that the majority of the staff are quite pleasant in the reception and restaurants. Breakfast was ok and the restaurant had good food for dinner. Location is also good, despite of this - after seeing the number of different hotels in Bournemouth. I would not recommend this place unless everything else is booked.

Great hotel but Paul made it a wonderful stay - he is absolutely gifted and owned the front desk! Customer service is something that people are taught - Paul wrote the book on customer service. Thank you legend - until the next time.. will definitely be visiting again after this experience!

A two night solo stay for some relaxation and I found all the staff I spoke with to be friendly, helpful and attentive. My room was newly refurbished and extremely comfortable in the West Wing. Breakfast on each day was plentiful with ample choice. My only niggle was the pillow cases smelt musty as though they had been damp when stored and the fresh ones on the linen trolley in the corridor were no better.

Despite the obvious glamour of the building and its perfect location our stay here has been punctuated by disappointments:- the TV switching itself off intermittently, the constant absence of milk and coffee despite promises that room service would deliver ( we had to go to reception 3 times to ask for some), . The lights and air conditioning weren?t working in the gym. Hairdryers not working in the poolside changing area. The fabric of the pool is very tired and worn and looks in need of urgent re-tiling. The bar service is very hit and miss and can be very slow (30 minutes for bread and dips when the place was deserted). The Room service telephone line wasn?t answered when I called. I had to request bath robes and slippers. You are charged £12 a night for car parking on arrival but if you go out there?s NO guarantee you?ll have a space when you return! Oh and there?s no Wi-Fi. It all just felt like an uphill journey, not what you?d expect from a four star hotel.

Warm welcome and room found for us although concern was expressed a room may not be ready- and we arrived well after 4pm Our room was a deluxe double overlooking the sea - bright and fresh with a super comfy bed and pillows and good bathroom. The air con/ heating was efficient. We stayed two nights and had delicious food both nights in Brasserie Blanc. The downsides - the bar area could do with being more of a standard - tables are sticky and the service isn?t great. We were told to collect our drinks from the bar as there was no table service. Despite paying a hefty £100 on our card to allow us to charge our room, that didn?t work until we had it checked and sorted. Whilst the room was super, there was no shower gel in the container- that had been overlooked. Restaurant staff helpful and cheerful, particularly Dyron. Despite taking a booking for an outside table we were then told one wasn?t available and we were seated inside in the restaurant. Breakfast is good but priced accordingly - no other local options unless you go down into town. If it?s not included it?s quite an extra charge. Parking is challenging and not guaranteed- and you pay for it. The hotel is used by non residents as well - a good incentive to stay would be to include parking for residents - again there are limited alternatives. Overall, we had a nice stay but the hotel is busy and it feels like it?s understaffed meaning that the niceties you?d expect of a four star Marriott hotel are somewhat missing. The staff are trying hard but not quite managing to maintain what we?d expect. We last visited in March when the hotel was quieter- standards seem to have slipped by the summer.

Loved this hotel - great experience. Well-appointed lobby and common areas, very nice bar and restaurant, great views of the ocean from the cliff. Check in was a bit messy - my room wasn't ready at 4pm as it should be and many other people were in the same boat, waiting and upset. But after that it was great - room was one of the renovated ones, clean and white and fresh, lots of light and again, great view. Comfortable beds, powerful shower, nice amenities. Pool was also very nice, and staff are friendly and helpful. I'd come back.

Lovely refurbished rooms and one very helpful man on Reception. Had fabulous meal in Brasserie Blanc attached to the hotel. Three stars because of the banal music playing in all the public areas and a particularly truculent young woman behind the bar in the evening - also bar tables left uncleared and actually dirty with food remnants.

It?s a Nisa Local, so do expect it to be at Nisa Local prices and thus convenience is for those setting them and not those buying. But there are a few gems to be had if you go for items already price marked.Such an item was Pepsi max at the RRP stamped price of £1.25, I couldn?t really argue. You wouldn?t get it cheaper in Sainsbury?s or Tesco?s.

Great location. Outdoor pool is just perfect temperature with bar next to it. Rooms are very comfortable Service is great Breakfast is great too. Walking distance to the beach. Worth noting that parking charges are extra. Walking distance to the centre for eating out. Hotel has restaurant too. Didn?t try there. The bar area is bit too tight. Overall great experience.
