We had breakfast at Mad Cucumber while visiting Bournemouth. I also ordered a celebration cake for my husband's birthday. The food and service was excellent. They were extremely helpful and patient when I ordered the cake. Thank you so much. I wish we lived closer so we could come more often.

Lovely vegan restaurant in Bournemouth, will definitely be back again when we next visit. Place had a really nice chill atmosphere and the food was delicious! The vegan cakes were really good too ?

I had a really lovely meal here (as a non-vegan with a vegan friend). Absolutely delicious food. We shared the Mad Burrito and the squash burger and both were delicious. As was the carrot cake!

Food was tasty and filling. Waitresses were attractive, friendly and competent. Prices were fair. Background ambient noise was an acceptable level. The very antithesis to your average McDonald's experience.
Couldn't fault it at all. Nice one guys ?

Super quick service and their posh squash burger is oh so YUMMY! I think it?s one of the best and most unique burgers I had. I like their Americano too ?

Would not return due to unwelcoming nature/rudeness of woman who served us

Went there around 11:40 and was told that we only get lunch served which we were okay with. But after we settled and placed the order they said kitchen is going to open at 12. Wish they had mentioned before as we were tight on schedule on the day.
Ordered burger and falafel meal and both were below average. It felt like frozen food heated up and served. Everything was dry and bland.
The lemonade tasted like rotten apple juice somehow.

Love their breakfasts and desserts. I got a takeaway pancakes and mint hot chocolate. Delicious and staff are friendly and accommodating. It's 100% vegan which is a bonus. Definitely recommend.

We became regulars on our recent long weekend trip to Bournemouth for my hen do. The breakfast & brunch options are great and super yummy. The English Breakfast was done just the way it should be (non-vegan places just can't do a decent vegan English breakfast!) and the portion was big. But the highlight was probably the pancakes which were just devine. Highly recommend!

We ordered a lot of bakes (brownies / cookies / cupcakes) for our wedding on 29.07.24 and they went down a treat. Raving reviews even from our anti vegan family members ;). Great communication throughout. I'm so happy we went with you guys xx

When we visit Bournemouth the Mad Cucumber is our go to place. There is always such a lovely welcome for us and our dog. He literally pulls us all the way to the door :)
There is a large menu to choose from and as all food is cooked from fresh, if you wanted to add or amend a dish they will always aim to please and provide exactly what you ask for. The portions are a good size, we always leave full!
Remember to look at the daily specials that aren?t on the menu as well as they are regularly changing and equally as delicious.
We didn?t know until recently that they also bake celebration cakes as well by their professional cake baker, we can highly recommend these. All very bespoke, check out the website and insta page to see examples.
The drinks menu is large and whether you are fancying a hot or cold beverage there?s plenty of options.
There is a very chilled atmosphere, and always spotlessly clean everywhere.
Dietary restrictions: I can?t eat tomatoes and even though we only get to visit every few months due to living in Cornwall, my intolerance is remembered and taken into consideration with any of my food choices, always being offered alternatives to make sure the meal is just as delicious and fulfilling which we find very caring and reassuring.
