Dashed in today for impromptu lunch, friendly welcoming staff and excellent food as usual.
I had the lunch offer (12-3pm) which is great value at £12.95 for 2 courses.
I had sesame prawn toast with a sweet chilli sauce to start and then a red Thai curry with rice. Both hot, freshly prepared and delicious.
Glass of blush large only £7.50! I Highly recommend you go visit A+++

We popped in for lunch and tried the Pad Thai, Tom Yum, and Gaeng Phed Ped Yang. All were satisfying, but the Tom Yum left the strongest impression?its mix of sour and spicy flavours was spot on. It had the right complexity, though I?d have liked a bit more punch.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere made for a pleasant escape.
Overall, Kala Thai offers a good taste of Thailand without quite capturing the full experience. It?s a solid choice for a Thai meal in Bournemouth, but if you?re fussy about your flavours, you might find yourself wanting a touch more.

we enjoyed the food and appreciated the quality of service, there was an unfortunate incident that left me feeling quite upset.
As I was standing inside, a male staff member (not sure if he was a chef) pointed me towards the area for Uber collection deliveries, without even asking whether I was a guest. It felt as though he made an assumption about me based on my skin color, and it came across as quite racist. That moment really dampened what had otherwise been a good experience.

Very delicious Thai food. We sat in their outside/inside area... covered extension type of area, which can be a bit cold, but we were seated in a booth with a heater to keep us warm.
We ordered the prawn dumplings and sweetcorn cakes for our starter, followed by a beef massaman curry and gaeng phed ped yang. The sweetcorn cakes were crispy and delicious, and the curries both had very good flavours.

have been here a few times, food is always good and reasonably prIced. Will recommend the jungle curry if you like it spicy. Cocktails are nice, well presented. Atmosphere was lacking a bit this tome round but i am guessing because it was the quiete season. Otherwise a really good spot for thai food.

A really great Thai restaurant. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. If we weren't traveling further, I would eat there again. Is highly recommended.
