We were delighted to find a classic HMV store with lots of records....even better there was a deal on....If the records were labeled up you could get 2 for £40 or 3 for £55,Clear as day with a white label, so after much deliberation we had made our choices, knowing that we could probably get them cheaper elsewhere we decided to help the high street companies.....Choices of the 3, all labelled up with the correct white labels and prices, took these to the till only to be told that they all had to be the same original price, so 3 at 21.99 or 3 at 23.99 means you'll get them for the £55....but you could not mix their original prices? Nowhere was this stated, it makes no sense and because of this HMV has lost yet another customer along with a sale....we shall not be back....Disappointed to have wasted 15 minutes in your shop....Enjoyed the searching of old classics, but gutted in the way she didn't help us at the till....not good customer service at all!It needs stating that you can't mix, as there's all different prices...way too confusing if it has to be the same specification etc

Prices and albums are really great, the service of those who attend is also very nice. Overall a great place to go for music!

It was lovely to be able to go into a proper record shop rather than the Internet,I was able to browse,I found what I wanted quite quickly,the staff were lovely,friendly and helpful,looking forward to going back again

Shop front covered with posters advertising Avatar Way of Water in 3D bluray but upon asking was told " you'll find out they don't do it in 3D "...then..."we don't stock it as we don't sell many 3D films"...I had to order it from Amazon, arrived next day!!Shop staff not interested !!!Thank you for your reply however it is far from satisfactory as there is a standard 3D issue as well as the limited edition steelbox and I appreciate you suggesting I order online or contact customer services BUT as pointed out in my original review I have already ordered a 3d copy from Amazon and received it.I am concerned that staff gave out incorrect information but more to the point that you did not read my review properly and totally missed my point!!
