“My mum had bought some Clinique products for my nan and had them gift wrapped for Christmas - Jane was absolutely lovely and kind when my mum was purchasing her products and took her time to make everything look lovely. Unfortunately when my mum had gone to M&S, someone had taken the gift bag with the products worth around £100 and hadnt handed the bag back.I had gone into boots to see if anyone had handed the bag back and spoke to Jane and Carol who remembered my mum and explained the situation and asked if i could be contacted should anything be handed in. Both Jane and Carol were so shocked and taken back that this had happened especially as its Christmas time. I left my number and thanked them for their help with my mum and also for taking my mobile number should anything come in.As i was driving, i got a voicemail from Jane saying that her, Carol and the boots store manager had agreed that this is such an unfortunate thing to happen to anyone and had offered to replace all the Clinique products and have them gift wrapped free of charge!!!I was so surprised and thankful that they are going to do this for us as a gesture of goodwill and called my mum to tell her what Jane had said they would like to do for us. When we went back, Jane had already started to wrap the gifts for us and said how upsetting a situation like this is.My mum and I would like to thank Jane, Carol and the store manager for their help in replacing these items but also a special thanks to Jane for being so down to earth and genuine. Not only was she professional, but she also made it feel personal and was so so lovely and kind through out!So a massive thank you again, we cannot stop singing their praises and will most definitely recommend people shop at Clinique in castlepoint!They helped save our Christmas! X”
