did not enjoy my meal and drink today.
Have been here several times before but the food is not as well cooked as it used to be.
Berry smoothie was too frothy and watery, probably from too much ice and apple juice, which tasted like apple juice made from concentrate.
Jacket potato didn't seem baked in oven, as fairly raw and tasteless inside and no crispy skin on outside. It was probably microwaved and sat in a boiling hot bowl covered with so much fatty melted cheese, which melted into the boiled baked beans. Not good. the beans were visibly still bubbling and boiling (no taste left in them) and I burnt my hand on the bowl, trying to tip it out on the plate, so I could separate the beans from the melted cheese. It would be better keep the 3 items separate on the plate where you could cut into the potato, scrape off some of the fatty cheese and eat the beans without melted cheese all over them. I would have preferred a proper baked potato, oven baked with a little bit of grated cheese on top and beans not boiled, on the side.

People working here are welcoming & put effort into preparing your food/drinks & seating you. We felt valued as customers. Milkshakes are a divine artform here with great flavour options - you have to try one! I recommend the Blueberry Muffin which tastes exactly like that, but the other flavours are yummy too. Coffee wasn't good, I had a Cortado which tasted so burnt & bitter but I can overlook this for everything else being excellent.
We ate Ultimate Flirty Waffle with chicken, bacon & maple syrup which was eaten so quickly that I hardly got a glance before it was gone, so take this to mean it was excellent :) !! I ate Venezuelan Cachapa, it's a huge thick cheesy (2 types of cheese) savoury pancake (not crepe) & is absolute heaven. I'll be dreaming about this long after I've left Bournemouth. Thank you Flirt team, your people totally understand hospitality & do it well.

Love this place. I was lucky enough to come here when our dear friends Rob and Peter opened this cafe back in 2011. Ed has since taken it over and it?s just a lovely homely place where everyone is welcome (including your fur babies!).

This is a wonderful quirky dog friendly café tucked out the way. Great atmosphere & food, ticking all the boxes. Great prices, service, veggie and vegan options, selling alcohol and host's music nights too. You'd be mad not to give it a go.

We?re so glad to have found this cafe today, the warm welcome we received from a beautiful, happy young lady was wonderful. We both had a large flirt breakfast which was plentiful, cooked to perfection & tasted absolutely fabulous, I think it?s safe to say it?s the best breakfast we?ve ever had! The service was prompt & couldn?t have been friendlier, we?ll be eating here every day now for the rest of our holiday. You must give this place a try, I guarantee you won?t be disappointed!
