Such a bad vibe in this store. Super cold and impersonal. Felt like I was back in high school dealing with a mean girls clique. I needed help at self-checkout, two employees were standing right there but ignored me for minutes. When I finally asked, they just pressed a button without even acknowledging me. The receipt situation after payment; blink and you miss it. If you don?t grab it in two seconds, too bad.
I couldn?t find an item, so I asked a staff member, and she just vaguely said, ?there.? Still couldn?t see it, but that was all the help I got. Spent a minute still looking, but the whole thing was so awkward I didn?t even want to ask again.
Just overall not a great experience.

New store refit totally impersonal, no way customer friendly.
Layout between aisles very tight shelves stacked to high for older or shorter people no chance of reaching product. 2 aisles defiantly not disabled person accessible. Checkout a joke 2 self service 2 customer pay no way of packing products you are buying. Very small closed box for you to pass products through no where to retrieve or place to put a bag to pack.
Feel sorry for staff in a glazed prison cant interact with customers. Again lack of staff on shop floor.
Maybe rethink required. Hi Jac thanks for reply Queens road Bournemouth BH2 6BE. Surprised review does not show store to you as address listed by Google.

Downtown Bournemouth really is awful for supermarkets and groceries. Needless to say no local produce or seafood, but I had to walk all the way here to get a basic ingredient out of stock at the one Tesco Express in the centre. All other ethnic corner shops selling vapes and crisps. This Co-Op just adequate at best.

Woefully understaffed - used self checkout but couldn?t have my purchase authorised as the poor staff have likely been told to prioritise deliveroo - had to go up to the counter after waiting for ~5 minutes. Not good enough

Lazy and liers. I asked how long it would take for the bakery to be out at 7:45 am, they said 10 minutes. Not a problem, I went out for a bit and came back at 8, still no bakery out so I asked again and they said 3 more minutes. Of course at 8.30 there was still nothing out so I went to get my breakfast somewhere else

I've been coming to this coop for a good couple of years, recently the old manager left and we now have a female that seems to be very lackluster.
I went in today a lot of the shelves where empty, she was just on a phone behind the counter not.
This place as lost the community feeling it had with the old manager as he would talk to everyone and made people feel safe.
Now this new "manager" has the personality of a wet dead fish, so I'm only going to assume Coop will close this store down by the end of the year shame really.

I like to consider myself a bit of pizza connoisseur (!) And love trying different pizzas and making them too in my pizza oven. I would honestly say this was one of the best places for pizza I have ever eaten. The starter of garlic bread and fior de latte cheese was so incredible I keep thinking about it!!! Staff are lovely too. We will definitely be back!

Discovered this wonderful Italian by accident - we?re locals but didn?t know this place existed. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious! Really great size portions too, as I have some left over for lunch - yum ?. Would highly recommend - we will be back soon! Thanks for a lovely evening

Another amazing dinner, we come here at least once a month now as it?s just the best pizza in Dorset, the parmigiana de melanzane is an underrated classic and is a must have everytime!

A small inauspicious restaurant from the outside, that makes homemade pizzas & just lasagna as an option (if you don?t like pizza) You need to prebook as it?s quite small inside. I was part of a large group. Pizza?s were all a good size & tasty. Mine somehow ended up with a double helping of parmesan cheese which made the flavour far too strong. Things you need to know; They only take cash ???? You can take your own booze, a small corkage free applies.

We are regular customers of this very unique and special Italian restaurant, tonight's food was no exception. The pizza is so authentic and the ingredients are so good that I honestly believe that if you took it to Napoli and gait to a local they would swear that it was made there and not in Bournemouth...as always a big thank you to everyone at de Mario's, the only true pizza in bournemouth.
