Just watched a guy walk out with red wine and brush past security. Politely ask the security what's the point of his job, tells me he can't discuss it, ask the manager, the mid twenties manager shrugs and says, 'ask the Co-Op'. Also made to feel worse than the shoplifter just for asking. Get down here, prices will go up to cover the theft so help yourself to free stuff next weekend.

Dont normally go here. But what a experience.
Homeless man by the door begging. Two guys walk in straight to the bottles of wine and stoke as much as they can carry.
Staff and security guard just watched! The men literally walked to the side of co op to re giggle the bottles.
Security guys didnt even say a word! Just watched them leave.
Won't go here again felt so un easy.
Chocolate wrapped obviously been stolen just left on the shelf. ?

Every time I visit the staff at the checkout lie and say Co-op doesn't do student discount anymore and refuse to apply it! Please can someone from head office educate and train your staff!!!

Needed chicken and beef they only had pictures of chicken and beef in the fridges.
Literally couldn?t figure out whats going on and just left without buying anything.

The supermarket has a free car park, which is really convenient and a big plus. However, the selection of products is a bit limited. While they have the basics, I sometimes can't find more specific items. Overall, it's still a great place for quick and easy shopping.

Bought the roasted vegetables which were in a basket with a £1 members price tag, only to see my receipt price them at £2.35. The manager said the £1 was the price of the item on the next shelf up, and did not apply to the roasted vegetables. The manager showed no empathy whatsoever towards me, when I suggested that the pricing was misleading. I was shocked and disappointed at the manager's response. I then spoke to several people in the store at the time, and they all agreed that the pricing was misleading. I will not be shopping in that store again. As a CoOp member I reserve the right to take my custom elsewhere.

Just wondering when the cashiers stopped bagging.. ?? The young woman who served me rang everything through the til, put the shopping bag next to my purchases and walked away...
The shop is good, some staff are fine but it's always the very young staff that have zero customer service...

I went in today ( 31st March 2024) and bought a chicken sandwich. Got home to find out it was 2 days out of date. Being pregnant, I don't fancy my chances with gone off chicken so I'm lucky I thought to check the use-by on it before eating it!

Clean, well stocked, god service and have plenty of parking. Very convenient and handy as it?s near to my hotel.
