Today , I took my 6 year old daughter to get her ears pierced at the Bournemouth branch. The woman who pierced them was kind , caring and didn?t rush the process at all even though she was lone working in the shop , it was lunch time and the shop was busy. She reassured my daughter , explained the process and because she did all that my daughter didn?t flinch or get upset at all . I do not promote lone working as i feel it?s unsafe and asking a lot of an employee however she dealt with it brilliantly - stayed calmed , stay patient and apologised to other customers who were waiting . She is a credit to your company and I hope this review & credit gets passed on to her.

Today i went to clairs with my carer and the piercer in there wasnt very helpful and was actually quite rude :(

Way over priced for all items especially Jewellery.
Charge £50 and upwards for ear piercings, I ended up going to a proper piercing place up the road and they did it for £30, Including after care and changing the ear piercing for free after 6 weeks.
Staff follow you around the shop making you uncomfortable like you are going to shop lift they didn?t even try hide it just making out like they?re sorting something out conveniently right where I was, The staff are a bit thick and slow as I was only looking at the Jewellery that is locked away they?re the only ones that have the key so no need to follow me about.

Really friendly staff and good stock selection and normally good offers on regularly. It's a bit cramped at times, but not a lot can be done about that, to be fair. Went there when I was a teen and now take my own daughter.

They often do great sounding sales (buy 3 get 3 free) but actually if you look at their prices, nothing turns out to be free as their prices on some items are 25% or more expensive than elsewhere.

Claire's is a company with shops everywhere , the prices are the same not cheap but have different and a great variety But the stars are for the staff not very helpful speaking on the mobile and looked annoyed

Really pleased with our experience here. The staff were very helpful and accommodating after we had been held up at another local business. The piercer was kind, warming and friendly which helped my daughter feel at ease whilst having her ears pierced for the first time. The lady was also very informative with instructions to keep it clean and safe. Highly recommend and will be my first place to go if she wants any more.

We weren?t sure what to expect after some of the previous reviews. However we needn?t have worried. Both staff members couldn?t have been more attentive and helpful. It was my 12 year old daughter?s birthday and she was quite nervous about getting her ears pierced. After the staff talked us through the earring options and we chose which ones, Jolene talked my daughter through the whole process very carefully and didn?t proceed until she was completely happy. Jolene was fantastic and took her time and checked my daughter throughout to make sure she was ok. Both members of staff made what could?ve been a bit nerve wracking into a really memorable experience. Thank you. And we were even allowed to bring the dogs in!
