“A beautiful & moving ceremony, in the presence of the Salvation Army's International leaders.
Both General Brian, & Rosemary Peddle International leader for Womens Ministries.
At a very important date in the religious calendar, on Good Friday a powerful time of reflection for Christians, across the world to reflect on what Christ did for us.
Crucifixion was said to be the most painful & harrowing of deaths, given by the Roman Empire as a strong vocal point, to say to anyone dare not go against our creed or else, suffer the dire consequences.
Jesus did nothing, other then come to show love, humility, compassion, to heal the broken hearted, to heal the sick, to give sight to the blind, & most important of all to fulfil the prophecy, that the messiah will one day come, to save the world.
As Christ spoke to the Father, whilst he waited for the guards to come to arrest him, he asks the Father for strength, & for grace as he takes on our sins through both death, & resurrection he shows us how to conquer both death & sin, one of our great failures.
This Easter take Christ's passion as a way of turning your life around, Easter is about new life.”
“Our first visit to this little church where our own church held its Christingel service. It was lovely to be there and felt like a village church with a long history of people worshipping there. Lovely.”
