I went to CeX castlepoint store in bournemouth, looking to trade in my iPhone 11 and airpod 3rd generations for airpod pro 2nd generation. The women serving me graded phone as a C grade, and my airpods originally as a B grade, but later someone else said its a C grade. She said the airpod pros i want are not in stock but can get them next day, so she said i can trade them in now or when the airpod pros arrive. As I needed my airpods for the gym, I traded in my iphone my kept my airpods. Now the following day, I asked to trade my airpods for the new ones with the additional store credit from my iphone. They refused to take in my airpods as the serial number was slightly worn. They then refused to give my iphone back despite me ONLY trading it so that i could trade it in with my airpods for the airpod pro 2nd generation, and if i knew i couldn't trade my airpods in the first place i would not have traded in my iphone as well. Overall very very poor service and inconsistencies with their own grading system. Ontop of that I believe you are selling my iphone as a grade B despite telling me it was a grade C.

my box set was missing 2 discs which was not mentioned. It was also 'brand new ' and sealed. Apart from that, it's a nice place with affordable prices.

I was told a few weeks ago by a lady there that they would buy my phone for a lower price as it has a small crack. I just came in today to sell it to them and potentially buy another phone while there and they refused to buy it from me because of the same crack.

Well i didn't go in, just gave my friend a lift and sat in the car eating a bacon double cheeseburger from burger king upt rooad. Burger was banging, the best King locally, can be trusted, not like tower park uhum. Car park had spaces and was a pleasant atmosphere. Exactly what you want when eating a burger in the car. Tyler got what he wanted from Cex, earbuds or summin, I dunno, fancy ones probly, personally I'd get em off internet as I don't like shops or shopping but each to their own. I can't be trusted in Cex anyway, just feel the urge to alphabetize all the dvds properly, and no-one wants that really. Guess j coulda looked for a amplifier for my car but I saw one in the window of one of the cash converter places in shirley, Southampton today and that was £160!! So I guess cex not gonna have one for £20 or less. Gotta wait for the Temu discount thing, try get the £31 one for like ?...........?.......... £12 max I will pay I think, that's how much I paid for the speakers, did use a coupon tho, so I guess I'd go to £17 if I got a £5 coupon. Gotta think about the algorithms now mind. It's all about the algorithms, apparently I talk about algorithms why too much for a normal person but I don't bother to pretend to be normal anymore anyway. Anyway Cex 5 stars!! Get a burger, sit in their carpark and eat it, if you're feeling adventurous go in the store too, see how far you can get realphebetizing the dvds, idk. Ah or buy something, lol I couldn't remember why people go in shops just then ?. Brain fog, at that age unfortunately, not that I had much of a brain to begin with ?. Sorry if this is too random, I can't do things normal. No photos today, didn't take any, was playing pokemon go. Ah I'll post a screenshot of something pogo. Check out my nerdy stats??

Went to this shop to trade something into them which was near mint, I had the box original wires all it had was a bit of grime from a case that it had on and a bit of dust that needed to be wiped off and the store assistant offered me a C grade because they?d have to clean it. Took it into the store in Bournemouth town centre and they gave me a wipe to clean it down and then the A grade.

Staff unfriendly. Came in with two phones, they didn?t want them despite saying they did in the app. They also kept the original boxes both phones came in, very poor do not reccomend.

I swear this shop is only set out to rip people off, I take back something I bought from them only for them to say there's nothing wrong with it, well if you have proof apparently it means nothing to them as well, advice, never buy an electrical item from these reprobates because even if it's in the 5 warranty they will act with disdain and animosity towards their customers, maybe it's my router that's the problem and the fact that the pssportal couldn't connect to it properly, but that's the thing if an item relies on a connect to wifi regardless as to distance this is still an item I got from them that doesn't work correctly 4 feet away from the console, regardless as to whether it's the item, my internet, whatever, it used to be that if you could prove an issue, the customer is always right, remember that as they drive their customers away

90 percent of the games were more expensive than what they are in the shops, so check online first.
A star as I made a deposit and was smooth and found a game that is no longer made so I was chuffed with that.
Another star for staff as they were really friendly.

I?ve used CEX a couple of times, but this particular occasion was a dismal. I took a phone in to sell on the Sunday afternoon - no problem. I was called on the Sunday evening and asked to take in some ID as none was attached to my account, and payment couldn?t be processed without, but reassured they could give me cash instead. The next morning I received an email saying payment had been processed and I?d receive an email once payment made. I went down with my ID (this is the Monday), and told I couldn?t have the cash as payment was made. Come the Tuesday, still no payment, so emailed via their main website as no direct telephone number (even though their telephone number says if it?s urgent, use Facebook and that directs you back to their main website), just to be told the payment had been processed and should be in my account - it wasn?t. Wednesday lunchtime, still no payment. I headed back down to the store. Normally, I wouldn?t be so petty, but this wasn?t £50 or less. This was a fair amount of money I was expecting to be paid. I apologise for being the awkward customer before I even begin. To cut a long story short, they couldn?t find the phone. They phoned the person who dealt with it, who said they put it in the shop window. It wasn?t there. They went to check the CCTV and that wasn?t working either. My phone had been processed, cancelled and then the person had thought he had reprocessed it but actually hadn?t. The person behind the till didn?t have the kindest demeanour, but did give me the cash I was owed. Who knows where the phone is though. They still hadn?t found it when I left.
