“The recruitment in this Waterstones is 2nd to none. My partner loves fantasy and romance. I went in a few weeks ago looking for a particular book for her and was recommended another. I took the advice and she loved it. When I went back again, it was another member of staff. I explained as above and she was thrilled to recommend loads more with reasons behind the recommendations. So much so that I had to take 1 of 4 back immediately as she already had it. The other 3 have all gone down a treat. In the job market we currently live in, to have people working at a book shop that clearly love their books and the customers is amazing to see! Can’t recommend the staff highly enough! Especially if you know nothing about the books like me.”

“Popped in to buy a birthday card, and a large selection of good quality cards was available, featuring all sorts of designs. Excellent choice. Also purchased a National Lottery lucky dip whilst at the till.Friendly & efficient staff, which made a refreshing change from the abrupt and rude staff & proprietors of nearby shops in Winton.
