The sales person David was excellent. He wasn't at all pushy. He knew exactly which mattress to recommend based on what I told him. He was very knowledgeable. We bought an Ottoman storage bed \\u0026 hybrid mattress. They offer insurance to repair or replace. The prices were reasonable. Delivery time stated as 3 weeks. They do charge delivery. We thought this could have been free, considering we had no choice but to have the flatpack bed delivered \\u0026 we spent £1200.

Was really impressed by Bensons and Glenn who was the salesman who really helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Excellent range of mattresses, excellent prices and also genuine advice. SO pleased I went here rather than repeat buy at John Lewis. However, on checking the website later online, looking for reviews, there was a special online deal with Bensons on the very same day, so to save £ I had to buy online rather than through the shop, when really credit for the sale should have gone to Castlepoint Bensons and Glenn. But would certainly not have bought online if I had not seen the mattress and got the excellent advice

Needing a new single bed we approached Bensons and were impressed by the range available, and the prices. The staff were most attentive and we were pleased to give an order. We were quoted a 4 week delivery date and were pleased to find that the date was completely correct. We received several emails in the interim explaining the delivery procedure etc, and on the day were given a phone call some 30 minutes before delivery. The delivery team were very pleasant and helpful, and the bed proved to be exactly what we needed.I would be very happy to use Bensons services again.

The staff listened to my needs and advised appropriately. The delivery was organised and executed smoothly within all advised time windows. The delivery men were friendly, helpful, efficient and careful.Overall a great experience.

I've got a message that my delivery is going to be between 10:30 am and 12:30 am. They have been 2 hours late and let me know with 5 minutes before instead of 30-60 min. My partner has to run from work ( 2 times) and catch them on time. Not happy at all as he had problems at work because of that . I do not order anymore with them.

My delivery got delayed. Informed on the day and no earlier that I?d have to wait 12 days. I?m in a new flat and sleeping on the floor. They said they?d give £60 store credit or £50 cash . Pathetic given i spent £1500.

Frame wasn?t delivered, mattress arrived with stain on, no communication, hours on the phone to customer services, no information as to when I?ll get my bed. I know have a pregnant wife sleeping on the floor.

If I could give Bensons customer service negative stars I would in a heartbeat. Cancelled orders, emails ignored and having to wait over an hour on the phone to speak to someone who then couldn't or didn't want to help me is unacceptable. And when I finally got my bed the mattress was stained....However, Glenn was fantastic, he went over and beyond what was asked and helped me with a refund and other queries. He was very personal and even remembered my name whenever i came into the store which was a nice touch.I genuinely feel sorry for most of the store staff, in any branch as their help fullness and knowledge is very very different to my experience over the phone and 90% of the staff outside of the show roomsGlenn gets 5 stars, customer service gets 1

This place will annoy you a lot and will give you a headache. We have ordered our bed in March and it was supposed to come in April. Off course they didn't bring it the first time but instead they cancelled it.We did it again and they did exactly the same thing again and this time we got annoyed as hell. We were on our last straw this time and told them to bring one last time. No-surprise there but they haven't brought it in and it's JUNE NOW! They even didn't call us back to inform it until we had to call them. I had ordered a bed from Dreams and they delivered it on time and in perfect condition. I had made a wrong mistake to order from Bensons for Beds. I 100% would tell anyone who's planning on getting a new bed to go to Dreams instead of this place which NEVER gives the bed on time. I'm so annoyed and disappointed at this shameful place. From now on I'm going to Dreams instead of this terrible place.

I ordered my bed from you on the 23rd January 22 and was told that delivery was delayed to March. You then delayed it further to 13th April 22. On 11th April you confirmed bed was being delivered as agreed between 7am and 1pm - I waited in all day - NO DELIVERY was made and no-one contacted me to let me know. I had to contact the store to find out delivery had now been put back to 19th May. On 19th May I called to confirm that delivery was definitely happening and was told 100% it was on the lorry but hadn't left the depot as yet and that they would call me when they were on their way. I cleared the whole room out again (for the second time) ready for the delivery - by 4pm when I had had no phone call I called the delivery office, held for 40 minutes - nobody came to the phone. Went into branch and was told that delivery had now been moved to the 29th May!! On 29th May I had a call to say that the driver was 6 minutes away (no prior warning or text message to say delivery was even happening!) but that there was no mattress with it and did I still want it delivered! With everything all out of the room anyway I was not prepared to take the bed in with no mattress, particularly as the new bed was supposed to be assembled by the drivers and you had agreed to take the old divan bed and mattress away. I did not want an unmade bed causing further clutter to my life or the old manky mattress being put on my new bed - so I told them I could not accept delivery. The driver said someone would be in touch to re-arrange delivery. I heard nothing for over 2 weeks, until yesterday when I received a text message and an email at 4.50pm to say that my bed was being delivered on 14/06/2022 (yesterday)and that you would message me 48 hours beforehand to confirm. Obviously I did not receive my bed!!! In short I cannot even begin to tell you how utterly disappointed in the service I have received. This would have been the third bed I had bought from you and I am due to replace another two beds in the house soon - needless to say I have now cancelled my order and I will not be using Bensons for beds again and will tell everyone I know to avoid using you at all costs. I am going to write an official complaint to Customer Services, but have been told in store it is unlikely that my email will even be read - which I have to say is shocking to a whole other level, especially as I would expect a company such as yours to want to ensure that the Companies Reputation and level of Customer Service offered would be of a high standard! I will, however, still be writing a letter, as the amount of stress and loss of earnings I have had to suffer, due to your companies incompetence and lack of Customer service, is totally unacceptable!
