B&Q has a lot of choice and the staff are usually helpful. I found what I needed without any problems. One or two things were out of stock, but overall it was a good experience. Would shop here again.

The guy in the paint section was brilliant and very helpful. Unfortunately, in all the other sections, it was hard to find anything or get assistance, and many items were mislabeled. Could be much better.

B&Q have most of your DIY needs, also castle point is a good place for the rest of your shopping.

Really helpful, professional and kind Timber Department. Came in looking for help on a project and the person who helped me was fantastic and knowledgeable. Thank you for a great shopping experience in a hardware store, which I usually dread.

I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Gill at B&Q. Her service was excellent and went above and beyond expectations. She was so kind, helpful, and genuinely lovely to deal with. She truly deserves recognition (and a raise!) ?

Everything You Need for Home and Garden in One Place!
B&Q Superstore is my go-to for all things DIY. Whether it?s tools, paint, plants, or storage solutions, they?ve got it all under one roof. The staff are helpful and usually know their stuff, which makes finding what you need so much easier.
The store is well-organized, clean, and has a great selection for both beginners and experienced DIYers. Prices are fair, and there are often good deals or seasonal offers. The garden centre is especially nice?plenty of healthy plants and great outdoor ideas.
If you?re working on a home project or just want some inspiration, B&Q Superstore is definitely worth a visit!

The person named Rich is really rude because when I tried to ask a question to one of the employees there, he silenced me and intervened and shouted I am not talking to you, be quiet and walked away, everyone looked at me and I felt very bad. He made me feel worthless, I had a hard time not crying. He really made me feel very humiliated, he is a very rude person, I never think of going to this branch again. Also, sending a complaint letter to your officer

Nice helpful people but awful B&Q.
Badly laid out, poor stock and generally unpleasant visit. I used to be a fan of yours!

Don't bother checking if something is in stock using their website, it's never accurate.

We were provided with one of the WORST "services" ever by the obnouxious man at the TIMBER CUTTING.
Slim, grey hair, probably in his 60s, he came bacl from his break looking miserable and gave us a dirty look as we were waiting, no answer when we greeted him, we made a question and he pointed somewhere without saying a word or making eye contact. Every question was answered in an awful, patronising and abrupt manner, at some point we had enough and just walk out to avoid a confrontation.
How can B&M have this rude horrible man, dealing with customers, is beyond believe.

Bought kitchen floor tiles two years ago now from B and Q Castlepoint My husband took time of work to lay them. Initially they looked lovely then within a month small holes started to appear all over them When we realised they were not fit for purpose we contacted B and Q
And after being passed from pillar to post and back again we are still no further forward.Their offer which took many months to achieve was to credit us the cost of the tiles and one hundred pound for our inconvenience! That will go nowhere near the cost of what it will take to replace them There after sales care is disgusting We keep persevering as we are determined to get our money back for the tiles plus some extra as the tiles have to be pulled up and a new floor relaid I simply can?t believe their attitude to a very valid complaint

Came 19:42, all doors already locked. Official opening hours 7:00 till 20:00. Wanted to buy one small thing, would've taken 5 minutes. Waste of time and petrol.

Went into the Castlepoint store for some paint. After looking & not finding white with a hint of grey, asked a store assistant & was told they don't sell it ? instead of helping to find an alternative way of getting the right colour. Was helpful in finding white satinwood; but then again had to look for it myself after being instructed where to look. Hopefully I'll find another store that's more helpful. Chain store tend to ignore customers because they're only interested in the profits.
