The biggest food shop in Bournemouth

A very big supermarket. You can easily park here and it is 3 hours of free. I advise you to park level one, which is the first left when you turn the roundabout unless. There is a car wash available in closed car park which is the second left. You can find almost anything there. The bread section is good.

I had a deeply upsetting experience at ASDA Bouremouth store on 4/08/2025 around 4:30pm due to the conduct of one of the security guard. Instead of ensuring customer safety and maintaining a welcoming environment, the guard chose to be rude and confrontational. My Friend was talking to him about some past issue but he was just blaming us without any reason and threatening us. A senior old lady was also there but instead of being kind and respectful they were bashing at us.
What?s worse, the behavior crossed the line into cultural discrimination. We were harassed and made to feel uncomfortable. No one should be treated this way especially in a place that claims to serve a diverse community. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I hope management takes serious steps to train staff SPECIFICALLY ?security?on cultural sensitivity and basic respect.
Until then, I won?t be returning and I encourage others to think twice before supporting a place that allows such discrimination to go unchecked.

My experience today was quite shocking a supports a guy to do his shop and lift was broken no wheelchair trolleys and wheelchair accessible till was open instead three other till where. I spend my working life trying increase the choices and independence of the individuals I support but today took me back twenty year to to experience that made that not possible. I struggle to see a reason for any of this please don't shop here if you need additional support they don't have it

Brought a make your own pizza at 420pm today.
The lady who served me was very helpful and knowledgeable. Offered advice and got my pizza ready within the time slot. Above and beyond.
If you have an employee off the month I would like to nominate her, unfortunately I didn't see name badge, so please check your rota and reward .
Ps worked in supermarkets and retail, so this is high praise...BRAVO

I had a troubling experience while exiting the store recently. As I was leaving, I was approached by a staff member?brown-skinned, with long hair to his shoulders?who demanded to check my bag without offering any explanation or reasonable cause. His tone was accusatory and rude, and I felt unfairly singled out.
I later realized this was the same staff member who is often monitoring from behind the cameras and has reportedly treated others in a similar way, including a friend of mine. This pattern makes me question whether certain customers are being targeted based on appearance, which is extremely concerning.
Everyone deserves to shop without being unfairly judged or confronted. Staff should be expected to act professionally and respectfully, and only intervene when there is clear evidence to do so. I hope the store takes a closer look at how customers are being treated.

This store is really handy.
I use this store for milk ect.
I get 2 buses from there to Southbourne which is not that far and my things stay very cold until I get home.
This Asda is really nice and it's cheap.
There are toilets and a McDonald's, a big clothes section and huge magazine section and there is loads more at this Asda.
Good atmosphere if you are a local.

Ordered a delivery majority of it wasn?t there spoke to Kim on the phone who for some reason thought it was funny and laughed down the phone and fobbed me off, quality members of staff clearly.

The store itself is fine, but we had a terrible experience with a staff member named Agnes. She was incredibly rude, condescending, and seemed to be on a power trip. We were three women in our thirties buying a bottle of prosecco and some snacks for the beach, when she aggressively demanded ID from all of us. Two of us had full ID, but the third, visiting from abroad, only had a photo of her passport. She?s clearly over 25, well beyond the scope of the Challenge 25 policy, but Agnes seemed to relish the opportunity to refuse service. She was argumentative, dismissive, and repeatedly said ?I don?t care? when we tried to explain.
In all the hassle, we forgot our beach umbrella. Agnes ended up putting our items back, so she must have seen it, but when we returned shortly after, we were told it was gone. Fairly sure she made it disappear out of spite.
We took our business elsewhere. A deeply unpleasant experience, and management should seriously review her conduct.

AWFUL SECURITY GAURDS. I am writing to make a complaint towards two of your security guards. They falsely accused me of stealing when I was minding my own business.
This happened on the 28/06/25 at around 16:00-16:30pm. One of them approached me while I was in one of the aisles and harassed me for using my own tote bag instead of a basket to hold my belongings. I apologised and said I?ll use a carrier bag or basket next time, I didn?t know it was wrong. He was still angry and said that his coworker told him to ?follow me? around the store and that they were both watching me before storming off. I felt really uncomfortable after he left as it sounded threatening. I then payed through self checkout using my card. I asked the machine for a receipt but it unfortunately couldn?t print one out. Bad luck. Bear in mind when I walked through I made it past two security alarms without any of them going off - because I payed for everything.
This wasn?t enough for them it seemed though because as I was about to leave the store, the same security guard ran up and stopped me again, demanding for my receipt. His co worker also came and they both stood in front of me trying to act intimidating and making me feel like a criminal. I said the machine didn?t print it out so I showed them my bank statement instead. This STILL wasn?t enough for them!
He then told me to follow him back into the store so he could check the cameras and when he FINALLY realised he was wrong and I was innocent, he just nodded at my direction. I asked if that meant I can go and he just vaguely nodded at my direction again still looking at the screen. no eye contact, no apology - nothing. I had to assume that was a yes and left feeling uncomfortable, violated and embarrassed considering I?ve done nothing wrong. They held no accountability on their part and it was a really unpleasant experience. Disgusting behaviour

The store itself is fine - big and plenty of variety but I'd avoid click and collect here. The signage to the collection area is really poor, and I drove round the car park three times before seeing it hidden between two parked cars. I checked in and waited half an hour for my order to be bought out, and in that time had to make two trips to the in store customer services and then call HQ. Very bizarre and a shame as click and collect is usually so convenient. Much smoother at Poole Asda - if anyone reads this and is anywhere near Poole I'd definitely recommend them over this store.
