I arrived at 4.55pm (it closes at 5) to find the door wouldn?t open. The two members of staff, a blonde lady and a man out back, ignored me. I knocked on the glass and eventually the woman left the till and came over and opened the door enough to stick her head out. She said ?we close at 5? and when I pointed out it wasn?t yet 5 she very reluctantly let me in making a comment about not being enough time to look round. She was really grumpy. I looked round quickly and didn?t find anything and went to leave to find I was now locked in!! What is wrong with people. If you shut at 5 you shut at 5 and not before. I imagine other people would have given up. This is not a professional way of behaving and they are letting the charity down.

Its a very disorganised shop, has the appearance of a jumble sale, seems a little dirty (probably the worst I have been in). Prices far more expensive than their close neighbour Prama, at a guess double the price.Given the chaotic appearance of the shop, they should either drop their prices drastically or if they want to charge what they do, have a good clean and tidy up.

wow!! full of bargains and a wonderful welcome in the shop!! great layout so I could easily find what I wanted, left with some amazing vinyl and a huge bag of clothes, including a super mario t-shirt and some gorgeous shoes!! definitely worth the walk up to Bargates!! Best Charity shop in Christchurch!! Thank you xx
