Staff clearly work as a team, nothing was too much trouble; drinks/food served quickly.
Room 4 spacious, clean and very comfortable, nice big shower with fluffy large towels; bed very comfortable and I wanted to bring the pillows home.

Recommend by our holiday home host as only down the road. Had drinks in the garden with the amazing view. Could see for miles. Peaceful and spacious garden. Definitely recommend.

Does great if expensive food but be aware has inside and outside menus and you cannot eat something outside that is on the inside menu as it, apparently it has something to do with the way it's plated?? We went to the admiral hood instead!!

A delicious and very substantial roast dinner, absolutely delicious and followed by an amazing and different large profiterole summer flavoured desert. Hubby had blue vinny cheese board - again delicious! Staff are lovely, friendly and efficient ! No hesitation in absolutely highly recommend this wonderful place!

love this place. situated with excellent views. plenty of parking. menu prices reasonable. food quality and quantity, absolutely no issues. unsure if a listed property, but restaurant would benefit air conditioning

Great location with super views. We stayed 2 nights and ate in the restaurant on both evenings. Nice meals with a great ambiance in the restaurant and bar areas. The pub is run by two families and the service is excellent! Great selection of local and nit so local beers.

This pub has everything going for it. Excellent location (superb views from the large beer garden), great good and friendly staff. Reasonably priced.
However, as a resident, charging for breakfast with each item individually priced as though dining in a restaurant (even beverages, which aren't really optional for that meal) is a poor policy. I would rather have paid more for a package that included breakfast as is more normal, but that wasn't an option. Otherwise it would be 5 stars overall.
