Had been here before - but a couple of years back. Booked in advance (definitely recommend you do this). Table was ready, service was excellent - and I mean really excellent- with plenty of staff who clearly know how to treat their customers.
Carvery was ample and desserts were very reasonably priced.
Nothing was too much trouble ( we had a disabled person & a dog in our party and both were welcomed).
Definitely recommended - and look forward to returning soon.

The food here is always very nice. Have had a couple of excellent Carveries on Sundays. Staff are always very pleasant & efficient. Gets very busy, especially on a Sunday, so booking is recommended if you want to play safe. Also reasonably priced.

We came over from Australia and visited our Neice in Mosterton.
This place was fully booked and buzzing with atmosphere. Homecooked food, all our dishes were amazing and OMG, the treacle tart was to die for. Great service.....a real hidden gem.

Wonderful carvery Sunday lunch. Great choice of meats and extensive vegetables. Small medium or large portion and priced accordingly.
Fantastic value for money.
Booking essential, deposit taken understandably.
Friendly and efficient staff.
The team all working very hard to make the experience a positive one, and all succeeded at this.
Dogs welcome too.
Oh and the cleanest pub loos I?ve ever seen. What a treat! This speaks volumes!

1st time visit and had a good time. There is plenty of choice and catered for varying tastes.
For me, even though I ordered a large ham,egg & chips, I would have liked more than 2 slices of ham... but that is a personal preference.
Overall, I would return and am sure I will when next in the area

A nice meal with family here. Quiet and family friendly. We had the roast which was tasty. Lots of older guests here, but peaceful and calm.

Sunday evening visit. Had two excellent roast dinners (generous portions), a really nice homemade cheesecake and some local Isaac cider. Very friendly and efficient staff. Could not fault in anyway. Well done all.
