Stopped here for lunch after a morning out and about, it?s a beautiful area and worth a look around. The pubs garden is lovely and well kept , we had a great welcome from the young lad behind the bar , we ordered the 2 for 20.00 main and dessert, to be honest we thought the portions would be small, due to the price, I was stuffed we ordered dessert at the same time we ordered the main meal, scampi chips, Belgium waffle and Eton mess, both delicious, big portions and great value for money, highly recommended.

Lovely pub in a lovely village , isn?t the cheapest £8 a pint ! Had to wait over an hour for food despite not being very busy but was worth the wait .
Friendly and garden is lovely , needs new garden furniture but all in good time will be here again soon

We always visit this pub when we come to Dorset. Lovely pub & beer garden with a wide range of draught beers avaliable. Food is always good, and service quick and friendly... worth the 4h drive!

Had dinner here last night while staying nearby. The food was okay, but the pub and garden felt quite tired and lacked any summery charm. In past years when we?ve visited, it?s always been well-kept, full of flowers and even had a maypole. It would be such a shame if it?s starting to go downhill.

We love to travel to Dorset from Devon and try and stop at the kings arms, having been there several times in the last 8 or 9 years. We usually have something to eat & drink, but we had already eaten but decided to go & just have a drink..on arrival we took note on the decline of the place..it was very quiet about 3 couples dotted around the beer garden. We noticed that roof & gutters needed cleaning & emptying , dirty & broken windows, cracked & decaying window frames. old paving stones piled up near the doorway, broken lights, wood panels covered with algae. The carpets were looking rather threadbare leading from the bar to the toilets..i dont think that I'm being over critical it's such a shame that such a lovely pub has been left to deterate..

Imagine at 3am walking into a crematorium. Morgue like? Sums this dump up completely. Walked in. Walked out.
