AMAZING CRUMBLE!!!We (a group of 10) visited the Burrator Inn for some crumble. We phoned up to book a table and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us- despite only going for crumble, on a Sunday.Their service was fast and their bar team we?re very friendly.Their crumble of the day was absolutely delicious! And they pour a great pint of Guinness.I highly recommend visiting their pub. Its perfectly located, near Burrator Reservoir, which is a great place for a stroll to build up your appetite for crumble!!10/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.Nearby activities: Burrator Reservoir is very nearby, a great place for a walk, run, or cycle!Walkability: Easy to get to, and in walking distance of the reservoir.Food & drinks: The crumble was fantastic! As was their Guinness.Noteworthy details: Great staff, dog friendly, great crumble, great pub!

Visited here on a wet weekday and they had stopped serving the main menu so opted for the bar snack menu. The open steak sandwiches and gammon were ok but nothing special. Plenty of tables available.

Paid £28 for a fish finger sandwich (piece of battered fish inbetween what looked like hovis bread) and a steak sandwich (piece of toast with some of yesterday's left over roast beef) and a couple of drinks.Never felt more ripped off!

The Burrator Inn is located in Yelverton on the edge of Dartmoor. All welcome including dogs.Parking available on left of venue. Came on Bonneville Bobber so parked on tarmac area to avoid loose chippings (laid on rest of car park area), damaging bike.Had light lunch consisting of a mix of starters (4 for £24) which was delicious. Chose Pork Belly Bites (presented in balsamic vinegar glaze dressing, finely chopped spring onions, chillies & sprinkled with sesame seeds), dish of apple sauce, houmous (with pomegranate & pumpkin seeds) with toasted warm flat breads, chicken goujons & mayo, roast potatoes. All presented beautifully. To accompany lunch had pint of lemonade & lime. Highly recommend. Staff very pleasant & welcoming.

Popped in here for a quick meal. It was cold inside apart from a lovely roaring fire. Unfortunately we couldn't get anywhere near the fire as two people were sprawled over the chair and the sofa, respectively. We asked if we could sit anywhere nearer the fire to eat but were ignored, despite there being a table next to the fire in the dining room. The huge dining area was completely empty. The bar lady wasn't very welcoming or helpful. Won't be going back.

Lots of potential. Speed of food wasn?t bad and the roast itself was ok, but at £19 you expect a bit more. If you have to pay extra for cauliflower cheese it better be cheesy! No veg with the child?s food. The children?s ice cream scoops were criminal and we mentioned this twice to different staff. the lad was licking the bowl as it was so miserly but no offer of another scoop or an apology! As they were so casual about it we didn?t leave a tip and we always tip! Like i said, it?s a nice country pub and has potential but just a few improvements and a bit of staff training needed. Will come back for a drink again for sure. Has to ask for the bill twice.
