Such a shame that one male staff member ruined it for the rest of the team who were lovely. He rolled his eyes when he saw us waiting to be seated, acted like we were a total inconvenience and walked around the restaurant swearing under his breath. Totally miserable and ruined the experience as the food and other service was lovely. Won?t be returning again just because of his attitude alone. Don?t work in customer service if you can?t even put a smile on your face

Very disappointed by the food!
Fish and chips was so greasy that the batter was mushy, the fish was clearly frozen and tasteless, the chips undercooked.
The mussles with no flavour, the sauce was totally without a shade of spice and the wine was not cooked so the sauce still tasted like alcohol!
Good presentation but bad food!
Crazy prices for the low quality of food served and very low cleaning standard.
Also I never see a chippy that wants money for tartare sauce when a fish and chips is 17.50, just ridiculous.
7£ for a pint of average lager.
We left most of the food in the plates and nobody ask us if everything was ok, for them is normal if someone leave 3/4 of the food on the plates.
Not a good experience at all.

Me and the family came down to this restaurant as we were visiting woolacombe. I personally thought the food and drinks were extremely nice. However I did have a complaint about one of the staff members who didn't seem to be very friendly, which brought the overall atmosphere down. Which is a shame because the waitresses were extremely kind and provided a great service.

We were very pleased with our meals at this restaurant on our recent visit to Woolacombe. The meals were delicious at a reasonable price and the staff are very friendly and polite. We will definitely visit again next year. Look forward to it!

The red Thai linguine was absolutely incredible. One of the best tasting dishes I've had outside of Thailand, the alcohol free beer was terrific after a hot day down at the beach.

Nice staff and interior. Probably great for full English breakfast but don't bother if you're vegan. The spiced scrambled tofu had no spices in it and was meant to have mushrooms, but didn't. It tasted as if silken tofu had been microwaved until it was just about warm, then some sliced peppers added and dumped on a plate. For £9.95 it was terrible value for money. I recommend a scrambled tofu recipe from Rainbow Plantlife if the chef doesn't know how to cook tofu.
