Absolutely lovely pub, we came 5 years ago and visited again during our break. Food was superb, lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff were the best and super friendly. Lovely locals in the bar.

Out of the blue, I needed some first aid. Luckily, the landlady is an ex rugby physio and she was able to help. The young lady who looked after me while I waited was also very calm and appreciated. Turned a scary situation into something less of a drama. I was able to sit by the cosy log burner, calm down, and enjoy a drink. Thank you all ! X

Super amazing pub. This pub manages to combine the atmosphere of a local with fantastic food for those that want a really good meal. We had Sunday lunch on a windy wet Devon day. The pub has a cosy authentic feel with a wood burning stove and a real old world feel. Best Sunday in a pub ever!

We were recommended the King?s Arms by another landlord who couldn?t accommodate us for lunch and we weren?t disappointed. The four of us had the roast beef and everything on the plate was well-cooked, high quality and delicious. After that we had to try the puddings, which again were excellent. Service from the waitresses was friendly and efficient. We will definitely return. Highly recommended ????
