Ordered a large breakfast waited 35 minutes so I asked to cancel the breakfast as I had to be somewhere. The refused to give me a refund and said I could take out the food 40mins later . I seen the chef putting my breakfast in a take out tray with his hands while cooking raw meat in the grill at the same time . After seeing him do that I asked for a refund due to his lack of hygiene knowledge and cross contamination. I asked him when was the last time he washed his hands he said he couldn?t remember and they looked dirty . How they got a 5 star rating is beyond me .never again . after seeing the reply its clear this guy is dishonest. The kitchen door was glass when i was there I looked through seen him cross contaminating food didn?t step foot in the kitchen once . Unhygienic and dishonest. Looks clean but his hands were dirty before the cross contamination of raw and cooked food . Trust your stomach see how you are the day after eating from there ?

Friendly atmosphere and great food!
I work down the road and treat myself to a tuna baguette and fries often, which is always fresh packed full of salad and a generous portion!
They have something new going on every time I visit and it?s so great to see them doing well and looking after customers

Always greeted with a smile and a chat with the lovely friendly staff. Food is amazing, especially the new burger menu. Brilliant value for money and never had to wait long for the huge portions to arrive. Really good that the whole menu is takeaway too.
Nothing is ever too much trouble either, want to swap out something, add bacon, swap to takeaway - not a problem. Always happy to help you decide which delicious cake to have with your cuppa too. Thank you so much for keeping me well fed and amused every time I pop in.

On arrival the staff were super polite and through out couldn?t do enough for us. We both had Breakfast?s and delicious that was too and great value for money! Definitely will be back soon.

Coming from Barnstaple it's my favourite stop B4 going to broadwood Kelly approximately 5 times a year. Very good food and coffee at reasonable prices. Friendly staff that do a good job. I'm fussy about what I eat and how it's cooked but they know their job and that's what brings customers back.
