We had the best time and didn?t want to leave! So much to do, will definitely visit again and stay longer. Lovely lodge, fabulous team and lots of fun activities. Would perhaps benefit from an outdoor bar area so parents could enjoy the views whilst the children play in the playground.

The Lodge we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was of a high quality and was very well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The furniture, bedding and soft furnishings were all high quality and extremely tasteful and comfortable. The hot tub and decking area around the lodge were outstanding and definitely not to be missed with such lovely views. We opted to eat in the restaurant, where the food and service were superb. The menu was not huge, but the food was of a very high standard and the wine list was very good. On a second occasion we asked the bar manager if we could eat in the bar, and her response was "Absolutely....no problem at all." She then, personally laid our table and brought us menus. Despite not being restaurant staff, she knew the menu options without hesitation, and was very attentive, as were all the bar staff, and restaurant staff. The staff at the hotel, despite their young appearance were all spotlessly dressed, well versed in their roles, and endlessly polite and attentive. The Management team, again despite the appearance of being quite young, were always visible, attentive, knowledgeable, and quite clearly passionate about guaranteeing the satisfaction of their guests. We had numerous engaging and enjoyable interactions with Katie, who is the Mole's delightful 'Bar Manager', and Tean, who is the hotel's equality delightful and charismatic 'Food and Beverage Manager'. The Hotel is expertly Managed overall by an extremely charming Italian gentleman known as Fed, who was always present and available to both his staff, and guests alike, giving us that overall feeling of trust and confidence in a Hotel well run. We can't wait for our next visit.

The whole resort is beautiful, peaceful and spotless. Our 3 beds lodge in the meadow area was absolutely perfect, quiet, very spacious and close to all the resort amenities. The open kitchen and living area had side to side sliding doors looking towards trees with large patio with fabulous hot tub which we used every single day/night. At our arrival we found welcome bags with plenty of useful and yummy treats. There was even one bag for our Toy Poodle. The whole resort is eco friendly with recycling stations scattered here and there (I have never seen cleaner ones in my whole life). A short walk from our lodge was the Hub with the reception area, a small food shop with local produce, a big games area and the activity shop. We met lots of friendly people in there, in particular Will who entertained us every evening. Just beneath the Hub there is the sport Pavillion which again was one of our favourite places. We swam and used the lovely gym every day. Real pity that the sauna was out of order for the last 2 weeks so we couldn?t use it and there were a few problems with the showers too. Next to the gym there was the Bistro with the most gorgeous carrot cake I have ever eaten (thank God we found it just once in a week otherwise I would have had it multiple times a day). On our last evening we went to the Canteen restaurant which was magical. We were well surprised that they let us bring our dog. The food is excellent. We spent a lot of time at the resort but we also went out to visit places during the day (Clovelly, the Valley of Stones, Ilfracombe and a few dog friendly beaches). The resort is a bit remote but if you don?t mind driving through narrow roads, then it is not a problem. Unfortunately our holiday came to an end but we came away already thinking at our next stay at the Mole. We MUST remember to book some nice weather next time!

This place was a Great find. Lovely location, very friendly, helpful staff. Very dog friendly, it was the first time taking the dog on an overnight stay away and it was all very easy. Close to towns like Barnstaple if you want to explore the local area.

Had a fantastic stay with my daughter and sister. We stayed in a 2 bedroom lodge with hot tub. My daughter was going from the hot tub to the outdoor pool to the indoor one couldn?t ask for a happier child. The facilities in the lodges are great everything you could want high end finishes and super cosy. The staff were amazing and even with poor weather we weren?t disappointed. We joined in a couple of the activities with the activities team and even have a bug hotel to remind us of the trip. The activities were obviously an extra cost but we were at archery for an hour so worth every penny. We also enjoyed some of the free activities the tennis courts, playground and games room. My sister has MS and one of the great parts of the resort is you can drive to each area so she didn?t miss out on any of the fun. Great staff, great resort and great stay. Can?t wait to return

It was a real mix of highs & slightly less high moments . We stayed in the Manor House which is beautifully decorated especially downstairs over looking the Mole Valley . Lovely place to sit . Our room was right at the top & a bit dated especially the bathroom . The ? shower ? was an old fashioned electric one over the bath which dribbled out . I resorted to going to the swimming pool showers . The breakfast was great & also our evening meal . Our check out bill was a mess . We had ordered drinks & didn?t sign for any order . When we checked out we had a load of random drinks that were added to our bill! It took a long time to untangle the bill . Poor show . On the upside the staff were so friendly & helpful . They were so sweet . The resort seems a bit of a un cohesive group of buildings & it feels a bit empty as I guess people are in the lodges that looked nice . Great views , great staff just a bit shambolic in places

We have just checked out of The Mole Resort and can honestly say we?re regretting not having booked a longer trip. From booking, to checking out, the customer service has been lovely. We stayed in a 3 bed lodge with our toddler, baby, and dog. The lodge was beautiful and clean with all the amenities we needed for a long weekend celebrating our baby?s first birthday. The amount of welcome goodies in the lodge was second to none, and especially as parents of little ones arriving with tired hungry children after a long journey, the fact that we had a welcome pack with essentials was so appreciated. The full English supplies were wonderful! Our Meadow View lodge was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the hot tub was such a treat! Very dog friendly resort, our Retriever really enjoyed walks around the grounds (and so did we - the views are beautiful!). We also enjoyed a day at Saunton Sands (recommended on The Mole website) which is a beautiful dog-friendly beach about 45 minutes from the resort. Definitely worth checking out if you?re looking to leave the resort to visit the coast. Our little ones are too young to have made the most of the organised activities, but the amount to choose from on-site is great if you?re a family with children past the toddler stage. The swimming pools are great and while it was unfortunately too cold to use the outdoor pool, we did enjoy the indoor pool. Suggestions for improvement? Perhaps a takeaway service on-site for light bites or pizzas! We would definitely have ordered in one night when the kids had gone to bed and we were tired. ? Such a lovely time was had by all of us and we can?t wait to return!

What an amazing place to stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by genuinely friendly and helpful staff, on arrival at the lodge we found the fridge stocked for a full English breakfast, milk and fresh bread. There was a separate goody bag full of treats for our dog and L?Occitaine products for each bathroom and kitchen. The standard of the lodge accommodation/hot tub cleanliness was outstanding. The same could be said about all on site facilities, to include a fabulous games room, tennis courts, swimming pool, gym etc. I treated myself to a hand and nail treatment at the Spa and would highly recommend Hollie. Golf course in excellent condition with amazing views. The Manor House great food, pets welcomed and treated as one of the guests. Could not find a fault other than a few rainy days. Definitely returning for another week next year. Loved it x

The lodges were amazing, very clean and spacious. Perfect for our small family. The hot tub on the patio was a big plus for us! The swimming area was okay, could do with updating the changing rooms and also having a family/shared changing room area as we often divide getting the kids ready and it meant taking our little girl into the men?s facilities. Gym was great and lots of equipment. Cactuses on each table in the bistro - which sounds silly but not very child friendly, my daughter (her own fault) touched one and ended up with spikes all in her fingers that we had to remove individually. I think they could be replaced with other succulents that wouldn?t tempt little fingers to touch, unless my child is the only one that dares touch a cactus! The wasps around the trim trail/children?s play area are a huge issue. We couldn?t enjoy it down there at all as we had wasps on us 24/7. Such a shame as the tunnels, slide and sand pit looked great. We also saw wasps flying around in the Bistro. Nowhere to eat food between 3 and 6 which is a pain with children as ours eat early for dinner so we ended up cooking in the lodge both nights. A really great place with stunning views, just a few teething problems to really make it family friendly. We enjoyed it!

Lovely resort although at first rather confusing as to where to go with so many buildings and facilities on site. The room was very large and comfortable. The restaurant menu has some excellent choices, I tried the duck which was incredible and fully recommend.

Fantastic place to get away with the family or friends. On site sports facilities are great and not busy when we were there and no cost. Free games in the hub are brilliant too.\\nAccommodation (3 bed lodge) was amazing. Great quality product with some nice environmental considerations. Views are amazing both watching the sun rise and star gazing at night.\\nStaff are so friendly and welcoming that you feel instantly at home. Well worth a stay
