Great local pub, made us very welcome. We even won some sausages in the meet draw. Dog friendly too!

Set in a fabulous location next to the river. Food was amazing, we always make a visit to this pub when in Devon! Definitely book a table if you want to eat as it gets really busy!

Lunch today was perfect - good, tasty food well presented, reasonably priced, generous portions, friendly, helpful staff, sitting in the garden by the river in the sunshine. Happy customers! Thank you.

Staff were rude, ice cream not pleasant, singer was mediocre. Even the other patrons weren't welcoming. Only positive is its position next to the bridge and river.

We we're staying locally and this was the nearest pub.
Great location in the middle of the village near the river.
Only downside for me was not enough gluten free options.

Always have the best food and service at our favourite pub! Vinny?s cooking is always 5* with new seasonal dishes to try!
Staff are so friendly and welcoming.
Thanks for always looking after us ??

MEDIOCRE pub, AND shame about the food prices which are extortionate!! This pub needs to ensure certain bar staff curb their rudeness to
customers. At busy times (Saturday early evening) there needs to be a good managerial presence behind the bar to keep order. Drunken , rowdy, customers, spoiling what might be a nicer venue if it could get its act together!!!

Visited for lunch on Sunday with my family to celebrate my birthday. Nice menu options, very accommodating kitchen for my mum's needs. Really friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I thought it was incredibly reasonably priced. Had mains, desserts, coffee and drinks - 3 of us £85. It's also perfectly located on a river with nice walks and a pebbly beach Uber the bridge. Would definitely go back

Superb Thursday lunch for Mum,s 87th birthday.
Seafood pasta absolutely amazing, full of mussels, scallops, huge crevettes, clams and squid- just brilliant, fabulous service, warm welcome, other family members had veg lasagne - also fantastic.
Home made icecream and sorbets ?
Recommended couldn?t fault this lovely pub with super service and fab food ???

We had high hopes for our visit, but unfortunately, the dining experience fell well short of expectations. On arrival, we were told to seat ourselves, then waited over 30 minutes before anyone brought us a menu. Even then, several items were unavailable?at 7 PM on a Friday?which suggests poor planning.
When my second choice, the fish tacos, eventually arrived nearly an hour later, they were soggy, bland, and disappointing?half went uneaten. Other members of our group had similar experiences: the seafood pasta came out with mussels, despite being told twice that they had run out, and the fish and chips was both small in portion and poorly cooked. The batter was so hard it actually cut one of our group member?s gums?completely unacceptable.
The service didn?t help. Staff seemed to prioritise guests they were familiar with, leaving the rest of us feeling ignored. We had to chase down someone just to pay the bill, and only after payment were we asked if everything had been okay.
To be clear, I don?t expect a refund just because the food wasn?t to our taste, but the long waits, careless service, and poor food quality made for a frustrating night. It might be a nice pub for a drink, but we definitely wouldn?t recommend it for food.

Very welcoming

Food was okay, nothing to write home about. And it came out quite staggered, couple people on our table were a third of the way through their meal while others were still waiting. I don't really like that when we all come out to a meal together. BUT the homemade ice-cream was delicious ?and theres lovely outdoor seating by the river. Been here on more then one occasion to do the walk down Culm river and pop in for an ice-cream and a seat!

We had a beautiful walk along the river and then back to the Culm Inn for Sunday dinner. Their dog friendly but also have an alternative to roast incl mussels, very lasagne and fish and chips for those not wanting a roast. Friendly staff and great service. Food was amazing, well be back.

Great village pub and restaurant.
The pub is the hub. So important to see it so busy and vibrant. Very friendly and welcoming.
