We had a fantastic evening at The Dock Café & Bistro in Torbay ?. We opted for dinner and couldn?t resist exploring their tapas menu ? it did not disappoint! The pulled beef croquettes were absolutely delicious ?, and the panko fish was another standout ??.
We paired our meal with some excellent local brews ? before switching to the Torbay Fizz ? ? a must-try, especially while watching the sun set over the harbour ?. The combination of great food, lovely drinks, and that view made for a truly memorable night. Highly recommend!

Visiting Torquay for weekend and was recommended here! Did not let us down, amazing breakfast and coffee and staff were really nice. Would highly recommend.

Been in earlier in the eveing, waiter had back to us while talking to us, my partner and i booked a meal and wasnt informed half the food was out of stock. Staff was rude/abrupt. Never told us we had to go to the bar to order food and drink so was sat for 20 minutes twiddling our thumbs. Heard another family ask a waiter if they could have the bread and olives they ordered 45 minutes ago.
Im sure the food is nice but we didnt stick around to find out due to the shortages they had and the service given.
Didnt even know we booked.

Popped in this morning (27/7) for a cream tea. Ordered and paid for only to be told they couldn't full fill our order. No problem at all. Refunded the difference and what was served to us was outstanding. Would definitely recommend The Dock and will try and visit again before we return home on Thursday. Staff were excellent.

Ordered crab tagliatelle and it was absolutely atrocious. So much oil, didn?t taste anything except from large amount of butter that was dripping down the fork with food on it. It also came with garlic bread which was more like a sponge soaked in even more butter. The stuff was very nice though.

Dog friendly.
Solid food, place a bit on the dirty side with staff struggling with a massive queue of guests. Bathroom to be avoided.

At the waitress' suggestion, I ordered a burger with caramelized onions and goat cheese. It was undoubtedly the best choice, 10 out of 10.

Took 30mins to be served after being seated. Table was dirty and tacky. Strange smell. Fish was greasy and overcooked. Chips were close to raw. Avoid like the plague

We were all very disappointed. Came here for years when it was The Tudor Rose and Lulu's. Now the staff were off hand and rude. No disabled toilets. There were only three types of cake and no atmosphere. We will not be eating and drinking here again.

Food is really great! Especially the beef croquettes and halloumi fries. It?s all good quality and decent portions. We didn?t have a sandwich but saw other peoples and they look well filled with doorstep bread! Definitely give this place a try. Dog friendly too.

Looked up brunch spots and The Dock was in the top 3. They have great harbour views and is super clean. Staff are really nice and friendly and food is delicious. Would recommend to anyone coming to visit from outside Devon (we came from london)
