What has happened to this what once was the go to chippy!!!
The service took 1 hour and a half for delivery on a early week day evening. When I called as my time slot had passed the young gentleman was unhelpful and just said there's many more in front of you...end off convo regarding that.
I could understand delivery issues but the food when arrived wasn't anything like the food I had the last time I left a review!! It was warm, soggy and tasteless.
I am so sorry st marychurch chippy but I don't know what's happened and I really hope you can fix it. I see literally 100's of holiday makers a day where i work and always recommend you. Sadly right now I will pause and hope it improves...

I ordered through just eats, late 30 mins and they tagged it delivered even they haven?t.
Completely rubbish service!!!, hanged me on the phone while talking to them. Rubbish!!! Rubbish!!!! Never again!!! ???? If I can give -5 stars deserves it!!!

3 fish and chips were £37.40. The fish didn't taste of anything and the batter was soggy. Would not recommend.

Rude, terrible service, refused refund, snappy rude attitude, shouted, hung up twice. Spoke to my wife like crap and then me.
Foods nice but not worth such ratty attitude and hour late delivery. HOWEVER, the Delivery driver, lovely guy, always works hard. Not his fault. 16/11/24 19:10 supposed delivery, 20:00 arrived.

The Cod roe is really over battered, my daughter had a combo chicken meal the chicken was dry so she didn't eat it .
The chips now aren't soft they are all crispy?

Got a delivery tonight. Curry sauce container not closed properly so all the packaging was covered in sauce. Fish was cold and far to many screechy (small) chips.

I really want to give a 5×..I have an allergy, and they did their best to work around it. But I ordered chicken meat and chips. When I opened my order. Just chicken meat. Was a upset with the lack of chips. They may have mis ubderetood but still. But other than that they were amazing. Great food

I can?t fault the fish but the chips were tough and stale,I think they had been left to go cold and then fried again,there were 7 of us and we all left most of them, disappointed as the order was not cheap

Basic chippy and given wrong order.Rubbery pies weren't great, no salt and vinegar on chips as requested, mushy pease looked horrific (I passed on those) and was given another chewy pie instead of chicken nuggets.
