What a lovely bunch of helpful people. You can have a drink and cake or peruse the little shop full of everything! Food bank operates here and there is lots of support if you need it.

Disgusting people working in this place. I have a shop 3 doors down and sadly locked myself out the shop today whilst taking my doggies for a walk and found myself with no phone or anything, so i kindly asked the lady in Salvation Army at the door if she could help with a phone or if anyone had handed my keys in but sadly she looked at me like a freak and kept the door locked so i genuinely feel sorry for the people that go there that really do need help and also round this area of Market street, everybody says the same about the people that work in this place, miserable. All the best Boomtown ?

"THE SALVATION ARMY"...... They have rank, a uniform, a band, a church, do not drink alcohol......During the course of their membership with the non profit making organisation they help many people who believe, might believe, are not sure what they believe......The Kings Spring Walk will help you decide. Take any walking route to the Torquay Harbour.....Walk for one mile to Corbyns Head.....Walk through Kings Gardens next to the Bowls Green, The Grand Hotel.....Walk to Torre Abbey.....Walk to Abbey Park.....Walk along the Upper Cliff or Under Cliff Walk back to Torquay Harbour and continue to " THE SALVATION ARMY" at "MARKET STREET"...... You might find something interesting in " THE CHARITY SHOP".....
