I visited the new poundland in Torquay yesterday and was very impressed by the new layout, everything neatly layed out and easy to find,the thing which hit me most was the new checkout,more tills and quickness,a far cry to the old cramped store where shoplifting was rife,many times I could see young and old alike placing items into they're own bags and leaving without making payment.

They don't have much variety went in for turpentine, but all they could suggest was their cheap paintbrushes that are substandard. Staff lovely, though. Didn't buy anything.
