Bought a couch, for £1000. Looked pretty on their floor but the seating support completely collapsed within 3 months. We reported it to customer services and were told, even with a ten year guarantee, they could only offer our money back or to discuss it if it was the frame. We are now sitting with major back pain on cushions that are flat and poke into our backs, thinking about selling it to use a reputable furniture reseller who in fact are only £300 more. Don't waste your money. Denhelms is very good for duvets, curtains, bath towels, etc. We are frequent customers. They need to do better with their furniture. Cheaply made furniture and overpriced. Wouldn't have complained if it we paid £500, because that's what the couch was worth, in my opinion. Total waste of money. Zero customer care. Only buy your furniture here if you're happy to be ripped off and happy with a low standard of quality.

Went there recently to buy a kitchen knife. Ended up buying £140 pounds worth of bedding, artwork, cushions and ornaments! Also ate in the cafe. All good stuff. But the £100 parking fine received by post this morning was unwelcome - be aware of the 2 hour parking time limit. I totally forgot about it during my spending spree!

Main visit was to the Pausa Cafe mid-bike ride.
I had a gluten free mince pie which was pre-packed. So nice to be offered a plate to put it on. A small thing, but very often doesn't happen.
I then ordered a caramel latte and the server checked I was ok having cream and sprinkles. Again a nice touch.
It was busy there and some tables were not cleared, so some prospective customers couldn't sit down. Otherwise clean and well presented

Went into the store yesterday and assisted by Brad in the carpet dept. He was very friendly and helpful. I am recovering from surgery and he happily carried my purchase to my car for me and could not have been more accommodating if he tried. Well done Brad - great customer service.
