Visited this store and the manger needs to be sacked! He is rude and appears from behind the wall with his chest poked out acting like a big man trying to attimidate u and speaks to customers like something on the bottom of his shoe! Then has the audacity to say I'm being rude cause I asked him to have some manners! Other customers also agreed with me in the shop when I called him out for being arrogant and rude. I will no longer visit or support cex while tho man is in your employment. If you are not capable of interacting with the public in a respectable manner then you shouldn't be a manager!

The most annoying, terrible place I've been to! I constantly go there and discs don't work several times. I bought Astro bot rescue mission and GT3 and the cashier took too long cleaning the disc and it was so damaged he couldn't sell it. I don't understand why they sell used products. I'd suggest going to Cash Converters,Retrograde, Cash Creators or Retro Revival. Scratched,Scratched,Scratched.... IM DONE!

Brought Xbox from here with wrong controller about month ago but wouldn?t they take it back as they sold it me with wrong controller. I brought lots of games constantly scratched and wouldn?t refund me . I suggest you go cash converters or cash generator instead of buying from CEX!!! Your wasting your money

I took a xbox 360 in to trade, tested and working.
The workers said the HDMI ports didn't work, I took it home and tested with multiple tvs and hdmi cables and it works perfectly.
I was concerned they had some how damaged the port.
I'm not quite sure why they said it wasn't working and I was concerned I was going to be out of pocket the money and the xbox.
Weird interaction. Many theories why but can not confirm anything.

This is the worse service I have received in my life. I bought a charging cable that wasn?t working. The guys at the shop wasted over 20 minutes of my time testing different cables that also didn?t work. Refunding my money became a problem despite showing the receipt. I was forced to open an account with them, give my personal details like phone number, email, bank statement, house address etc all because I wanted a refund. I had to leave my money to protect myself. Everything looked so fishy.

This is one of the best places to find used Xbox and Ps4 games. I buy and play games and once finished with them return to them for vouchers.

I was charged £10 for a second hand Nintendo 3DS AC plug. I later found out that Amazon sell new ones for £6. So this shop nearly doubled the price which is ridiculous. Not happy. I'm not going to try and take it back because they always come up with some stupid reason why they won't take it back. Stay away from this shop because you'll be ripped off.

Brought 2 blu rays, two sales assistant in store. I had to wait to pay, and the one assistant was serving a customer to a phone. The other one was changing the music ? Surely the customer comes first. I know I only spent a few pounds, but in these days, every penny counts, I noted the sales space as been made smaller. I waited for the sales assistant who sold the phone to serve . The other sales assistant was changing the music the whole time I was there. Luckily, I wasn't in a rush, or I would have put the items back

It's pretty good tbh with decent pricing on games & accessories. Fifa 2020 was £2.50! Better than risking Cash Generator or similar pawn shops where I've had bad experiences previously
