My recent experience at Westcars was unfortunately below expectations and left much to be desired.During my visit, the staff mentioned finding two bulletins related to the fault code my car was experiencing. However, I wasn't informed that one of these bulletins outlined that the faulty wet timing belt is covered under warranty special coverage until the car reaches 6 years or 60,000 miles.Instead of addressing the root cause covered by warranty, they proposed a temporary fix involving changing the oil sump, which was quoted at an additional £100. Upon collecting my car, I was startled to be charged twice the initially estimated amount. Their reasoning was an unexpected change of the oil. The original quote was supposedly encompassing everything, but this changed to labour only when I collected the car and shows as ?further investigation? on the invoice which is not what I was told at the time.Moreover, their recommendation to replace the wet timing belt when the car reaches 6 years would nullify the eligibility for warranty special coverage, which should have been discussed transparently during my visit.The lack of clarity on the sudden increase in price, the actual work done, and guidance on the timing belt replacement or the safety of driving the car until it reaches 6 years was quite concerning. The dismissive attitude encountered during the collection of the vehicle was disappointing, as I had valid inquiries that were met with indifference.Additionally, during my initial visit, I wasn't properly guided to the waiting area nor offered any amenities despite being exposed to unfavorable weather conditions. A gesture as simple as offering a warm place to sit or a cup of coffee would have significantly improved the overall experience.Furthermore, despite attempting to address my concerns and provide feedback by reaching out to the MD, my request has been completely ignored, which adds to the dissatisfaction.I sincerely hope my feedback is taken constructively. Improvements in transparency, communication, customer service, and responsiveness to feedback, especially at managerial levels, would greatly benefit the customer experience at Westcars.

Excellent service once again from the service team at Westcars. Following a disastrous visit to Nationwide Tyres at Tiverton, Luke and Ash arranged for 4 replacement tyres to be fitted promptly and, incidentally cheaper than the national company. Thoroughly recommend Westcars.

I phoned and booked Westcars for a specific tyre for my Mercedes. Excellent customer service and even an unexpected valet too! I?m impressed. Sorry about how dirty the wheels were ?

Stopped using these as they replaced my K&N air filter with a standard part, and didn?t have the decency to inform me. Now lost all faith in them. AVOID!

Go elsewhere, 6 months of issues with the Mokka we purchased. The same issue with the car was taken back 4 times and still wasn't sorted when we eventually got our money back. They would only answer questions they wanted to answer. Didn't always reply to emails. Were told different things by different members of staff. Were offered a straight swop on a newer car, after the issues with our own car you would think it would be spotless, see photos below!!! We had two different excuses why it wasn't valeted properly, our valeter is off so the toilet cleaner did it and oh we took it too the Polish guys across the way!!!!Steve initially offered us £1400 less than the original purchase price!! Record your conversations as the email to confirm what was said will be different than the actual conversation. Oh and there favourite line - car prices have gone up!! That means the value of mine has too.Don't buy a Mokka especially from these guys.Whilst we always had a courtesy car and the service team were great the car was never sorted and not safe to drive. I have never been so stressed with a situation as I was this one and am glad to see the last of the car and MD!!!I am sure the PR guys for the company will come back with a reply!!But don't buy the Blue Mokka ending in reg MBV my blue Vauxhall!!!

I rang Westcars on Thursday last week with a goal of enabling being able to save on outgoings, but I still had a year left of my PCP agreement. Martin invited me in to the business the day after to at least evaluate my car and see if the equity was in a position for me to look at my options. I went in to be met by such a lovely and kind man, who I can only describe to be the most caring gentlemen in Sales that I've had to deal with. Being a woman, I have to admit, I enter dealerships slightly reserved and nervous because I don't want a sales person to make me do something I wouldn't want to if I wasn't on my own. Martin not only spoke to me and made me feel like I was speaking to a family member but truly put my best interests at the front of what he was doing. I came out on Friday, not only with an idea of how to save money, with a cheaper car with newer mod cons that I'd come accustomed to. Martin's communication was excellent and his knowledge of the industry was fantastic. I honestly, can't thank Martin enough. West Cars are truly lucky to have such a salesman on their team. Thank you Martin!!!!!

I have used Westcars for 3 years now, they have been unfailingly polite and efficient, at a reasonable price. They have squeezed me in to fix an issue the day before a trip abroad. They are honest and will tell you clearly and fairly what the issues are. Fantastic customer service. Highly recommend.

Recently took the car for a service upon recieving the car back I found my brand new 5 litre coolant missing, rang them regarding this matter all I got was denial and told to ring the police maybe only coolant but its not that its the principal - tiverton vauxhall
