Excellent service and support with achieving our rental in a very difficult market. Staff knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The only improvement we can think of is being introduced to the property by a member of staff shortly after occupation to explain areas such as operation of heating and security systems.

A tricky start as next door neighbour's parents were going to buy & then dropped out after a few weeks. But Stags soon got another buyer for me & the process then went smoothly - with updates which was much appreciated.Would recommend Stags to others.

We used Stags for their full letting experience when we let our house out for one year, as we were first time landlords. It was a shocking experience, which caused us significant stress and thousands of pounds and a period of being temporarily homeless for 4 months.The tenant they vetted was not someone, if we had met, we would let into our home. When we (eventually) moved back into our house, red letter bills in these people's names arrive regularly in the post to this day.Stags let us down most with regard to giving these people the appropriate notice required. Then Covid hit, so we had to wait another month due to Stag's delay in informing us and the tenants of Covid legislation changes. I believe the young girl "managing" our account left Stags around this time.Next, and only 8 days before we were due to move back into our own home, we found out - only by accident- that the tenants had no plans at all to move out. We only discovered this as our wifi provider couldnt switch accounts back to our home. We informed Stags who then contacted the tenants, only to be told they had no intention of moving out, despite our one year lease ! This was about midday and is one of those moments engraved on my brain. We assumed a manager from Stags would call us back to explain how this happened and to support or advise us. No! I will never forget that night. We were shocked and stressed and had no idea where we could live. We have no experience of the law and only learnt that we could not legally go anywhere near our home. A phone call from Stags to apologise for their lack of managment of our tenancy at that time would have been decent. They called the next morning.So we found ourselves homeless and had to move in with family. We eventually had to go down a legal route which cost us thousands in fees to evict the tenants.There is a lot more detail of utter incompetence I could add but dont want to bore. You would do a better job yourself and you would definitely care more about basic things like end of lease and not being homeless. Avoid avoid avoid. Stags in reality does not at all live upto their brand.

We have just used the Stags Tiverton office as sole agents to market our house in the EX16 area. The team at Stags made selling our home not the nightmare I was expecting.From the start when first visiting to value our property, Mel was honest, knowledgeable and gave us realistic advice on the market and where to pitch our property.All the viewings were arranged swiftly without unnecessary inconvenience to ourselves and Jess was always on the ball and made sure feedback was provided whether good or bad.When it came to the actual sale it was clear that Stags were working for us, they treated our potential purchasers fairly whilst ensuring the best outcome for us.I would not hesitate in recommending them.
