Entering the shop was great experience and the optician who check my eyes was great however lots of non work taking going on in the offices to be over heard the table that lifted the equipment up was broken which I would of looked passed but the experience for me was not great especially when my eye site test was completed to be led out to the frames part and saying you can choose any of these frames and if they are over £70 you get buy one get one free. If he was explained my test results I only need a pair of £3 reading glasses from Amazon it felt like I had to buy a pair of £70 glasses. I just felt the customer service part could be better and test their equipment before they open up and when they try and fix it not be so hard on the lady who was trying to help be accused of why did you drop the table to the lowest setting. The lady?s response was I was not working yesterday. Does it really matter this conversation's should be not in front of the customer.

I ordered contact lenses from the store, and a week later I showed up hoping they'd arrive. I was assured they'd be delivered within two or three days. However, the order mysteriously disappeared, so I reordered them. Needless to say, they haven't arrived yet. So, since I urgently need those lenses, I purchased them through other channels and now I'd like a refund. However, the store doesn't seem to respond to emails or phone calls. I'm writing this hoping they will! Excellent service and very helpful staff, but terrific organization and if possible worst availability!

The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Never have to wait very long and always feel that any problems I have with my glasses is dealt with very efficiently.

My son is registered as disabled and autistic and limited communication. When fitting his glasses the staff checked and also got signed off by manager, but when came to collect this had been done incorrectly.
Has certain triggers for meltdowns. Glasses do take a brunt of this. Called as he now has no glasses, and was told even though registered as disabled and still in full time education, cannot help, and would incur costs to repair as this is policy. I find this very discriminatory to LD clients, and Specsavers might need to look at there policy. Now taking my son elsewhere.
