Was sold the incorrect wiper blade, sadly did not retain the receipt; my fault, so returned happy to pay for a correct one. Assistant found there were three blade options so he unboxed them and said 'lets check this one is correct', popped just outside and clipped it on the car in less than a minute. Little did I realise they would then proceed to charge me £7 for this privilege without even discussing the charge with me first.
I queried this on the front desk with a young man who smirked, shrugged and said 'its a standard charge' and refused any further assistance!
Poor customer service and downright rude into the bargain - I have taken the matter up with head office, its not about the £7 its about the complete lack of transparency and the downright rudeness of the staff member.

Took my son's mountain bike to Halfords in Tiverton with a puncture. The lady who served me was very helpful and did the repair quickly for a incredibly good price. I would definitely recommend Halfords. Thank you.

BEWARE REPAIR EXTRAS. I took my bike in for a gear cable repair, I explained the job when I checked in and said probably needed new brake pads and cable, and to give me a quote. Imagine my surprise when they said it also needed a new chain, back cassette and two new tyres at £265. I explained that I didn?t require the work thanks. They then refused to do the work as the bike was ?unsafe?? er no it isn?t. They told me it?s their Terms & Conditions for repair (it?s not). Complete waste of my time. Took to the Bike Shed in Exeter and had a sensible conversation with a proper technician. I have made a formal complaint to Halfords about the way they advertise their services ?no obligation? should mean that. Really disappointed as I?ve usually had good service here.

I ordered some spark plugs. I chose collect from store option. I had an email to say they were available to pick up. A member of staff asked if she could help me. I told her I was there for a collection. She knew straight away what I was there to collect, and served me. Friendly and polite. Happy with the experience.

Halfords in Tiverton replaced the wipers on my daughter's Corsa today. They also adjusted a back light to make it work. Cannot fault the service. They were polite and helpful. I would fully recommend them. Very very pleased with the service. Thankyou Halfords.

We came in on Friday to look at car seats before buying elsewhere online. But the car seat expert that's been there 11 years was incredible, he knew everything about car seats and the safety . You can tell he loves his job and takes pride in it. He deffinatly needs to have recognition for his passion.Exeter halfords know nothing about car seats. So would really benefit from training from him.I wish I would have remembered his name but I was so busy talking about how great he was, that I forgot. Possibly Mark?I will deffinatly travel more to tiverton just for hus expertise

Service was very slow nobody on the shop floor to ask advice from. When someone was available (manager) he was rude and abrupt. No prices on all products resulting in having to ask for it. If clearly priced I wouldn't have wasted 10 mins seeking the information.
