I am deeply disappointed by my experience with Devonshire Homes. From the moment we moved into our new property, we encountered a myriad of issues that have significantly impacted our quality of life.First and foremost, the customer service provided by Devonshire Homes has been nothing short of appalling. Our attempts to address the various issues with our home have been met with indifference and disregard from their customer service representatives. It seems as though once they've made the sale, they have no interest in ensuring customer satisfaction. One of the most pressing issues we've faced is with our windows, which have been leaking since we moved in. This has led to extensive water damage within our home, resulting in mold and damp spreading throughout several rooms. Not only is this a health hazard, but it has also caused significant damage to our property.Additionally, the Wondrwall system installed in our home has been nothing but a headache. Despite promises of energy efficiency, we have experienced extortionate electric bills since its installation. This has placed a significant financial burden on our household and was not at all what was advertised to us during the sales process.Furthermore, Devonshire Homes has repeatedly failed to fulfil their promises to address these issues. We've been given numerous assurances that repairs would be made promptly, only to be met with delays and excuses. It's incredibly frustrating to feel like our concerns are being brushed aside time and time again.Overall, I would never be purchasing a property from Devonshire Homes again. The combination of poor customer service, questionable construction quality, and broken promises has made our experience with them a complete nightmare. We are left feeling disillusioned and regretful of our decision to invest in one of their properties.

Once they?ve got your money they don?t care.Their customer service team is a disgrace, proposing sticking plaster solutions to any problem that arises. As a consequence you?ll make great friends with the contractors as they will be back repeatedly to fix the same problems time and again.Eventually they just try and wash their hands of issues without solving them and dismiss you with rudeness and cowardice. If you dare to make a formal complaint you end up with their Directors taking no responsibility or accountability and delegating responses to their teams with no apology or degree of acknowledgment that the most expensive thing you?ll ever have bought isn?t at the standard required.I wouldn?t touch Devonshire Homes again if I was paid to do so. The house is lovely but the post-sales service is non-existent.

I have very recently purchased a new Devonshire Homes property in Kingsbridge Devon. The sales staff Charlotte and Catherine were very helpful throughout the buying process and this continued until the hand over took place. Nothing was too much trouble and my experience so far has been positive and good.

I moved in to a new home built by Devonshire Homes back in January and absolutely love it. Susie and Yves in the sales office were very helpful and efficient. The buying process was hassle free and quick. The quality of finish is excellent with some thoughtful details included that are often left out by house builders. Having lived in new homes built by much larger developers such as Charles Church and Persimmon, the build quality and value from Devonshire Homes is far superior. Any questions I have had since moving in have been quickly answered by their customer service department that you can actually get hold of! The house was also immaculately clean when I moved in and I was shown round when collecting the keys and told how everything works. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Having recently purchased a Devonshire Home I am very happy with my new house. The sales executives Susie and Yve at Longston Cross Bovey Tracey were extremely helpful and kept me updated during the build. They were also very prompt and professional in responding if I had any queries. It is a lovely house in a beautiful location.

I live at The Tors. The loft doors are substandard and come off easily which is dangerous and caused me considerable distress when I had to have my loft fumigated to get rid of flies. The loft door fell off and out shot thousands of flies into every room of my house. I then had to sleep on the sofa because of the fumes and try to sleep with hundreds of crazy dying flies. I then spent three days trying to hoover them up. All because of a cheap loft cover.

We have recently moved to a property that is in a wonderful location and was built in 2013 by Devonshire Homes (the original buyer bought it as an investment, rather than a residence, and did not therefore have the opportunity to identify most of the shortcomings in design and function that we subsequently discovered). Anyone considering a new home built by Devonshire should inspect the property very carefully and look out for the following:

Unfortunately we had a slightly negative experience during a viewing at Tarka View. My mum and Dad are looking to buy in the area and although we went to see a beautiful house, the reception from the saleswoman was frosty to say the least. Admittedly we did arrive at 4:15 on a Friday afternoon, but she made no effort at all to promote or sell the house. We had one word, short and abrupt answers and sometimes she didnâ??t even look up from her computer!
