Manager jenny Richards was extremely rude after selling numerous bottles of milk that is still in date, brought 4pm yesterday yet this morning all bottles are off ....
Jenny offers replacement yet it will cost me fuel of 5.7miles each way drive ...
After this we can see there reviews are very poor for the spar in Bampton.
Resolution is cost me over £5 fuel x2 days trip for milk that they leave out for hrs after dilivered to the shop .hence why milk always goes off before the expiry date .
£3.20 for 2x 4 pints of blue milk plus over £10 fuel .
Extremely expensive milk .total cost is £13.20 for 2 x 4 pints of milk .

People that work here are so nice. Always have good chats, but the stuff on sale is so so average, it all fells like everything is maximised for profit (shrinkflation): Tiny packets of cheese same price as regular cheese, mini fajita wraps same price as regular fajita wraps etc etc . Although they sell Eccles cakes for some reason which is a plus. . .

Fabulous cod, chips and peas with lovely crisp batter! Everything is cooked to order so expect a small wait. Very reasonable price too. Highly recommended! ???

Lovely fish and chips?. Crispy batter. Curry sauce is very tasty. Would highly recommend. Very friendly staff. Good price with good size portions.

It should be a typical villagw shop but my experience on 2 very recent occasions, including just 30 minutes ago is to find the opposite of freindly and being curtios to locals when serving.If it wasn't for the kinder staff I wouldn't give the shop one star.There's no excuses for being abrubt and disinterested in the customers needs especially during these times.If you ask the staff to help fund the cheapest brand of a particular item ,you would expect a helpful reaction not to have an argument because she won't do this .You certainly don't expect the staff to chose any random item ,put it through the register and demand the money.I'm afraid that it shows how desperate business is to employ such low levels of staff who clearly don't care what the project to customers when visiting the storeI'll return again when this lady is not there of course because she is not the normal experience of the kind and hard working staff who are always pleasant.

Lovely fish and chips as usual. A wide selection of other items are available but i love their F&C?s. We often holiday in the area and it is always consistently good.

Great Staff! Very friendly and always helpful as i'm unable to step up into the shop, as i'm in a wheelchair. So staff always come out and do my legwork for me. :)
