Handy for Tiverton, when I stayed there it ended to be an old people's hotel, and I had trouble getting a pizza grilled for my son, there's no facilities in the room.I suspect the hotel was built in the 60s or 70s, it's quite large and spread out, there is a large car park and large restaurant and lounge. It was full of old people as I said.Nearby are the Tiverton swimming baths which we went to

The staff are lovely and very helpful. It's very dog friendly which was good. The rooms need updating and the food was basic and not worth the money. We would have got a takeaway if we had of known about the food.Parking was easy.

Very nice hotel. Not far from the main road.Nice large car park. The rooms are big. Especially the suites. Our room had tea and coffee making facilities. Two big desks. 3 chairs. A big bed.The power sockets are just standard ones so bear this in mind for when you need things charging. You will need a plug adapter. The bathroom had a bath with a shower headAlso in the bathroom was a shaving mirror and shaver power point. Hand moisturiser and hand soap is supplied. There was a Complimentary shower cap and sewing kit in the bathroom. We have also had a travel pack of emery boards. The bar area is nice and the food was very tasty. Lots of seating in the bar area. There is another dining room which is used when the bar area is full. It's also where breakfast is served. The staff are very nice and polite.

Reasonably priced, dog friendly hotel serving breakfast & evening meals with a well stocked bar. Lovely staff and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Perfect for an overnight pit stop on the way to Cornwall. Will definitely stay again.Rooms: Clean and comfortable. No issues. Even provided a water bowl with a few Bonios for our 4 legged friends. Nice touch.Noteworthy details: Do not follow Google maps to get here. You will drive past by about a mile and end up in Tiverton outside a Chip shop. Keep an eye out on your right as you approach Tiverton if travelling from the M5. Just before the big Tesco superstore.
