Popped in to buy an eyebrow pencil. No testers at all so put a dot on my hand to check the colour tone. The assistant then told me off (I'm 59). I explained no testers and I needed to check it was not too dark she then went on to say it was now second hand as I was walking to the till to pay for it. Either add samples or tell your staff to handle it different. I do not expect a young kid to have a go at me when I want to buy something. Pick your game up Teignmouth or you will lose a lot of customers to Boots

I would recommend shopping elsewhere.
Most of the staff here are normal and very helpful, but the older lady in her 50s with dark hair who I think might be the manager is awful.
Made me feel very uncomfortable and gave very strange vibes before she followed me in the shop. It was so bad I felt I had to leave the shop.
Not sure what the problem is but she is clearly going out of her way to make good customers feel unwelcome. Very unprofessional and recommend you shop elsewhere.

Great shop. Can buy a lot of things there. The only thing I'm not happy with is the workers because all the workers do is have conversations with each other through their earpieces. And pretending to stock the shelves. I found them quite rude having a conversation with each other while still working while customers needed help finding a product. I'm local and each time I visit that shop they seem to be doing it all the time. And I don't think the manager even knows. ?

Staff are pretty friendly and very helpful. went in as a somewhat clueless guy only to find what I was after was out of stock. One of the staff spent quite a while recommending alternatives and generally giving me tips.. made me quite comfortable and saved me walking out in confusionThanks

In short, a worker was stalking us in the shop and then accused me of shoplifting.

I got accused of shop lifting because I put on MY OWN chapstick. No apology from the workers and previously they had been stalking and watching me and my friends in the shops, even asking us if we were using testers and giving disapproving looks. One of the worst experiences in a shop Iâ??ve ever had.
