I was very pleasantly surprised by the updated rooms, and the overall quality of the food, the entertainment was great, lovely to see everyone up dancing and having a good time. Very reasonably priced, staff were very helpful, coach was modern and comfortable

Went with my partner, a wheelchair user, to the Northumberland tour. Stayed at the Leonardo hotel in Newcastle. Staff lovely and extremely helpful, but room was in need of TLC, holes in carpet, bathroom in need of a good clean. Food tasty, but buffet system means long queues and popular items running out. Been on this tour twice before, this time all on my own, brought back memories, went on all the trips some coffee stops uninteresting but all in all, quite leisurely and Hotel/staff/food excellent, and so comfortable,traditional and well worn,looked tired but in keeping with the age and style of the Hotel. Wouldn't go again...
