Highly recommend. Been a few times and has been amazing every time. Friendly staff, great vibe. Will return to stay in the hotel and enjoy the food again for sure. Always looked after and treated like royalty.

We only popped into the Cornish Arms for a bite to ear and it was very good,really nice place,good atmosphere ,the staff were very good and waitresses were exceptional and incredibly friendly,highlighting a short but good experience.we would call in again for sure .
Thanks Nick , Ania and Nici.Ania has a Dartmoor guiding business and may well introduce Tavistock to her walks.The Cornish Arms would be an ideal place to go for her.

Very good food, good service, really good garden (but no views).
3 starters, 1 main, 2 desserts, drinks & coffees £130. Highly recommend the limited time leek & blue cheese Arancini starter, the ox cheek main, the garlic prawns, and both desserts - the Eccles cake & Cashel blue, and the Chocolate Delice with peanut brittle. Nice staff who were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable

Was recommended by my brother in law who is a chef in Ireland.
This is my second visit this year, and my go to now for food when staying in Bideford.
Food and drinks: Absolutely stunning food!
On my first visit I had, the scotch egg and chicken curry.
On my second visit, The Sheppards pie croquettes and Fish and chips.
Highly recommend.

Fabulous food today, highly recommend the Summer vegetable tart, monkfish scampi and probably the best dessert I?ve had, Eccles cake and blue cheese , delicious.

We didn't eat but was good for a cold pint on a hot day.
Viewing the menu we thought it was quite expensive for a pub lunch.

My pork chop served with chip & sauce, no veg or salad was very much over priced at £28.95. When removing the fat & bone quite a small piece of meat was available to eat
We waited 50 mins for the meal to be served with no apologies for the delay.
Not good value for money for the amount of food served .
I won?t be returning to this pub again, prices far to high compared with other up market pubs.
