Having received an upsetting diagnosis from a consultant, I asked the pharmacist what to do as my prescription hadn't come through and I had symptoms. He spent a long time sorting out the item for me, explaining privately how to use it and the possible side effects, and listening patiently to my anxieties. I left feeling much better!

Have changed to boots after using this pharmacy for 12 years, sadly gone downhill, I believe they?ve been taken over

I've been with this pharmacy since it opened, but everything about it has gone down hill to the point I have now signed up for Boots online, to have my meds delivered free by post. I genuinely wanted to support the pharmacy, being small and independent, but they really haven't go a clue. TWO weeks after ordering a repeat prescription, I still had no notification. I called and called repeatedly for over an hour until someone finally answered the phone. I was told my prescription was ready but the 24 hour collection machine had broken down. Because I'd completely run out of meds, I went in to collect it. 35 minutes in a cue, and it wasn't ready at all, they had to then prepare it. 20 minutes later they presented me with a bag and announced one of the items was out of stock; no apology; nothing. The service is absolutely appalling now; they really need to engage.

I wish I could leave ZERO stars:After many problems with not receiving my regular mediations and being unable to contact the pharmacy by phone, I went to complain in person.I asked why my previous months prescription had not been dispensed and the pharmacist replied "I don't know... sorry". This is all I could get out of him. I said that this was just not good enough but then a female member of staff approached me with a very confrontational and aggressive attitude citing the number of patients they had and that they were short staffed. She deliberately tried to provoke me into being abusive (which I was not).The pharmacist then returned and handed me my scripts, saying that he couldn't fulfil them and I should go elsewhere. Which I then did.Whilst waiting in another pharmacy, I received a text message from my doctors sugary informing me that Taviside pharmacy were no longer accepting my prescriptions and I should nominate an alternativeIn other words, Tavyside have banned me purely because I complained about their continued poor service.

Very poor response, very slow, long delays after ordering to the point that although you?ve ordered at the first date opportunity you still run out before they make them available. Never answer the phone

Came to Cornwall without my medication.Phil Dawes at Tayside pharmacy was so very helpful and kind and solved my problem. Excellent customer service.Other pharmacies in the area should take note.

The people who work here are caring, empathetic and very hard working. I?ve had such good experiences using this pharmacy despite the incredible workload and demand that the staff experience.

They are the most wonderful team especially Louise who goes beyond and the owner Phil is a true gentleman. They are all so helpful kind and go that extra mile. It's a well stocked pharmacy and if they don't have they will order and call you once it's arrived. We come originally from South Africa and let me say that this service and quality of this team Tavistock is very blessed to have.

Needed emergency blood pressure tablets sent away told to ring 111 after ringing for two days was sent away staff so rude .went to boots pharmacy was so helpful and kind I'm 80 and was very upset and worried did expect more help from my pharmacy sadly not.

I have collected two repeat prescriptions that went well, however on this occasion, I was told off for not giving them ?enough time to process my request?.I had given the same amount of time, and was told that my prescription had been approved. Then they were out of stock of my medication- will go elsewhere in future. Not very friendly or welcoming staff either!

STAFF are rude everytime i go in there they wouldnt even deluver my meds wen i asked becaise i have suspected covid so i had yo collrct then i got told off in a shop full of ppl for not saying thankyou i fint knkw ehy they are do rude thry are only shop staff its not like they need any qulifications anyone could do that job so dont really know why they think they are any better than me

Always friendly and helpful. Really care about their customers. Sometimes busy and there?s a wait, but that?s not their fault! They work really hard. I appreciate having a pharmacy that offers genuine advice and tries their best to solve a problem.
