This branch in Tavistock is in the middle of a residential area in Tavistock and continues to think it?s acceptable to make noisy Deliveries from 3am - 4:45am every week. When I complained to the store manager Emily Arundel twice now about this and how they shouldn?t be doing this outside of 11pm - 8am quite time zones she rudely told me ?well this is a business so we can do what we want and we have had no other complaints apart from you. My MD said what do you expect if there are businesses in the area?. For 30-40 minutes all you hear through your windows is a man dragging a pallet truck in and out of the Lawsons car park. They have zero respect for the residents in the area. They are a garden furniture shop not a hospital or a medical site selling life saving medical devices. I have placed a council noise complaint, if they continue to break these noise laws they will be fined £20,000 per event. For them it?s just a job, but for the residents here it?s their lives, the ability to sleep at night and to have a good quality of life. I will be escalating to head office also. Disgusting behaviour.

They have a broad selection of home goods, kitchenware and cookware, a better selection than many larger stores. The prices are not cheap, but quite competitive. I still miss their Plymouth store and make a point of shopping here whenever I am in the area.

I am new to the area so thought I would wonder into Lawsons and see what they sell,unlike London the shop was very quiet as I wondered around taking everything in and also being carefully watched by the staff I picked up a new gas tube for my little blowtorch then I noticed they had another floor I asked if I could go upstairs to see what they were selling,to my horror I was asked to leave the gas tube on the counter by one of the older staff,may I say I wasn?t going to put it in my bag without paying for it, I don?t think in all my shopping days have I felt so uncomfortable in a shopI won?t be going back in either such a shame.
