They have a broad selection of home goods, kitchenware and cookware, a better selection than many larger stores. The prices are not cheap, but quite competitive. I still miss their Plymouth store and make a point of shopping here whenever I am in the area.

I am new to the area so thought I would wonder into Lawsons and see what they sell,unlike London the shop was very quiet as I wondered around taking everything in and also being carefully watched by the staff I picked up a new gas tube for my little blowtorch then I noticed they had another floor I asked if I could go upstairs to see what they were selling,to my horror I was asked to leave the gas tube on the counter by one of the older staff,may I say I wasn?t going to put it in my bag without paying for it, I don?t think in all my shopping days have I felt so uncomfortable in a shopI won?t be going back in either such a shame.

A shop that sell nearly everything loved it although the offers were for store card holders we were offered to be signed up. In all very helpful.

A small chain of a family owned business. We obviously were at the Tavistock branch but there are also branches in Totnes & Ivybridge. Quality stores with reasonable prices indeed we picked up 3 garden planters way cheaper than Amazon. I would say start supporting your local stores and buy less online, just a thought.

After making a special trip to Lawsons in Tavistock to buy certain items that the Plymouth branch always used to have I found only one of these items and that was the only one in stock. Staff not too helpful. Was really disappointed .
