Weak Cappuccino, they only use 1 shot in a regular size, tasted more like a Latte. Told us we had to order large sizes to get the 2 shot normal Cappuccino (??)
Since when does the size of your drink dictate the ?recipe? .. would you expect a small coke to use less syrup, or a small tea to use half a teabag?
Cappuccino uses 2 shots .. that?s it .. regardless of the size.

We were a group of 14 walkers and they served and fed/watered us efficiently and with a smile. Good selection of food/drinks and everyone enjoyed what they had

Poor quality scones which were stale and clearly not homemade, disappointing for Devon. Tried breakfast there too and again very poor quality products used. Only nice part was coffee sadly.

Winter weekend lunchtime i expect a cafe to be busy but a small area had 3 large dogs. Having lunch in a small area smelling of wet dog is not nice or hygienic. Soup was mushroom and Stilton and very thick and over priced. I ordered a large coffee but appeared small at the most. Overall I wouldn't go back. Looking at the reviews customer service is generally poor and not improved over time.

Dropped in here with my family while visiting the market and sat outside with the provided blankets (which the kids loved). We shared some cakes between us and none of us could pick a favourite, they were all so great. I'm generally quite picky with my coffee and the americano was really good. All the staff were incredibly welcoming as well. Thank you!

Not sure what the problem was today. Just popped in for a couple of coffees and both were very weak and tasteless.

I have never been treated like a piece of dirt before in a cafe. One member of staff was disgraceful. Tried to contact the owner direct through the Dukes website to save placing a review on here with no response. I feel the staff need to be taught how to be polite or be sacked for their misconduct towards fellow humans.

Visited here after long long walk . In needs of hot bowl of soup and a cuppa . Wasn?t disappointed .. four soup of the day to choose from . Plumped for tomato. Home made and delicious as was the bread . Service quick and polite . Happy tummy
