Whilst on holiday the exhaust came off my car on Dartmoor. Took very noisy car to Abbey Garage. Left it with them at one o'clock while we walked into town for some lunch. Phoned the garage at 3 o'clock and car was ready, with a new exhaust fitted at a very reasonable price. Unbelievably good service, and if I lived locally I would now make this my garage of choice.Service: Exhaust

Very happy I found this place by chance! I lost all the electronics in my van that I?m currently staying in on Tuesdaynight, dashboard doing all sorts of weird things, recovered to abbey garage on Wednesday morning, even with a full schedule and short staffed glen fit me in and the lads had me up and running the next morning! Glen was great, really wanted to get the job done right and went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted properly and quickly for me, replacing both the alternator and a ruined battery. Took my mk1 Audi TT in for a 'noise' and ?boost leak. Booked in quickly and the experience was a pleasure. Found a loose heat shield and solved it. Reported no other urgent concerns after a days testing. The cost will have them booked up for months so it's not in my interest to put it here ? honest and pleasant. many thanks.

I have been going to this garage for about 5 years now. I can?t recommend this place enough. Glen and his team are incredibly helpful. I don?t know much about cars and had a misfiring issue. Glen got a video up from YouTube and showed me what should be happening for my car to work properly and then explained what was going wrong in my car. I really appreciated this. He made sure I understood what he was talking about. Not only this, but Glen has gone out of his way to help me with my car repairs. I know I can rely on Glen and his team to safely repair and maintain my car whilst also keeping me up to date on everything before anything is even done to my car. They?ve been great in the past at fitting me in at the last minute too. I really cannot recommend this Garage enough. Thank you to you all for your great service :)Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Very efficiently run garage offering repairs and mot services. Friendly knowledgeable staff make this a pleasant place to do business. I was unexpectedly given a courtesy car which was a very welcome bonus. Highly recommend getting your car repaired or moted here.

Both my cousins where starting Day 2 of there Lands End to John o Groats adventure for charity, when our camper started to overheat heading up into Dartmoor. I left them to it and found by pure chance Abbey Garage. These guys we're proper hero's. Without a thought they found the problem (a leaking coolant pipe) fixed it, replenished the coolant and I was back caught up with my team within a couple of hours free of charge!!! These mechanic's are genuine helpful, kind and trustworthy. Use them!!!!!! Thank you so much from Arran Richard & Simon. I took my Skoda Octavia down this morning and they found it had a broken spring. They had a full schedule of work this week but they said leave it here and we will try to sort it. I was amazed to receive a call this evening saying that two new springs had been put in and to come and collect it. Excellent speedy helpful service.Service: Steering & suspension replacement
