This is the third summer we?ve eaten here. Amazing innovative food. They combine flavours in totally unexpected ways to create incredible meals. One of our group had food allergies and they met us with suggestions of what she could eat, and were able to adapt dishes by creating new sauces etc where needed. Often she ends up having the dishes with no sauce, but not here! Everything we ate was unforgettable. Thank you. We?ll be back.

We had a very loved meal here and the staff made us feel very welcome . I had the cumberland sausage & bubble 'n' squeak meal - was so delicious & sarah & sariah had fish n chips.
The dartmoor beer was so good as a shandy !

Lovely pub with a great dining room and beer garden. Friendly staff, lovely food... just wished we lived closer so one of us didn't have to drive! Will certainly be back soon!

Beautiful place, excellent service and very dog friendly. Venison was a bit over-cooked and cabbage virtually raw, but the cod loin was very good

Myself and my bestie stopped here for lunch. First impression as you park - it's quintessentially British ? quaint church and very pretty pub . Nothing disappointed, lovely selection of wines ( tasting not a problem, if you're not sure ) and a menu that left you wondering if you ordered the right thing, as it all sounded delicious!
Food was amazing
Staff SO friendly , Susie was lovely, with lots of knowledge of the Local area. Can't wait to go back !

My wife and I were heading down to the south coast for a wedding. After a long, tiresome journey we needed somewhere to eat. The Church House Inn popped up in our search, looked nice so we booked it. We had a lovely time - home made pizza, salad and a couple of glasses of wine, with warm and friendly service in a delightful location transformed our otherwise tedious journey. We were sad we had to get on our way as this is a very nice place! We will definitely go back and we will make sure we plan to spend more time there next time.

Found this hidden gem of a pub on a drive back from Ivybridge and so glad that we did! Really delicious food, extremely friendly staff who were more than happy to stop and chat with us, idyllic location and an incredible old building from 1028. Great pub garden perfect for the dog. Thanks for the great food and service. Will definitely visit again!
