Pleasant shop, pleasant staff, pleasant experience. However, Waitrose has gone the way of all the others. The produce is smaller, higher priced, many products are watered down like the salmon pate (which used to be a weekly treat for me) and most of the meat, or sweetened up like the range of puddings all of which are pure sugar and additives, or simply ridiculously small. Their organic range is bitterly small and appalling quality. If I am going to pay more I expect some sort of standard. The most annoying thing is any time I find something i actually like they stop stocking it with no explanation and i have to look for it elsewhere or try and find a substitute.
Why can't you source organic bread for example that satisfies. ( in the good old days of real bread a couple of slices for breakfast saw you through to lunch no problem. Nowadays you may as well just have a glass of water, it's just as filling. Also please start stocking some organic or nitrite free bacon that doesn't disappear in the pan! I paid for that! I am increasingly shopping elsewhere as there is no point in spending hard earned cash at Waitrose when i can do exactly the same elswwhere.

I always love to shop in Waitrose. They are more expensive than other supermarkets, but the quality of even their essentials range is very good quality. The staff are all fabulous too.

Place online order a week ago for a birthday cake and cupcakes. Delivery arrived without some cupcakes (explanation for it was they don?t have it in store at the moment) didn?t bother inform me about it until arrival time.Disappointed

Great store, wide aisles. Very helpful staff. Stocks quite good, a few things I wanted were either out of stock or sold out including Waitrose's own excellent cornflakes. No surprise there with Waitrose at £1 and Kellogs £2.35 for same weight. Both have vitamins addition.

Waitrose Sidmouth is a relatively small store but nevertheless carries most everyday items plus a good range of beers, ciders, spirits and wines.The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful.

Went into the store, not knowing where many things are and Karen at the front desk was very helpful. Her knowledge of the store was brilliant and her pure kindness made my day so much better. She?s an absolute credit to the company and I will be back to shop there again!
