Amazingly scrumptious cakes great selection, I had an almond and apricot pastry it was simply the best I have had, also bought a cherry pie for after tea wow I will be back for more. You must try.

An independent bakery is a gem in any community. All but gone from the our capital city, Sidmouth's Upper Crust is a treat and the cheese n onion pasties are ace too.

Just had a meat pastie from this shop,and have a job to tell if this pastie was not the best I have ever had.It was great from start to finish. Good filling and lovely pastry.I was sat on the wall by the sea and my wife brought it to me,I have not stopped talking about it.Well done and Ill be Back.

Staff in both the Fore Street and WoolBrooke Road are rude and unaccomodating my most recent visit caused uprore when I dared to politely request a cake box. There was no "sorry we don't have one" just a look of horror that I should dare to ask for one and a stern no! Forgive me but isn't it a bakery?! Why are you not polite to your customers? It's elementary in retail I'm frankly astonished by the reception given in these shops.

For our family, a sensible, appropriate business atmosphere and pleasant, attentive help are very important to set the tone for a wonderful eating experience whether on site or takeaway. This is the kind of service we received at the delightful Upper Crust Bakery on Woolbrook Road in Sidmouth. The young lady behind the counter was a gem. She was courteous, helpful and professional. The pastries were positively delicious! It was a lovely experience during our holiday, for which we'll always be grateful. The manager was very kind and appreciative of our business, too. Delicious pastries and excellent service! Thank you for being in business, Upper Crust folks!
